I bought this dishwasher to replace a Whirlpool that served my family well with at least a wash per day for 11 years. The main reason I decided to get rid of the old model was that dishes were coming out smelly. I chose the Bosch because it was rated best in all the professional reviews that I found. I got a special Memorial Day deal at BestBuy with the (normally $180) installation included for free. The installers did a good job and after they left I filled the racks lightly to try it. The dishwasher ran incredibly quiet, to the point that I had to place my hand on the door to feel that it was actually running. After the cycle completed, I opened the door and stinky smell that seemed like a mix of tar and burnt salmon came out from inside. The smell made the smell of my old dishwasher seem like roses in comparison. I imagined this was a "first run" kind of thing, so I took the dishes out and ran an empty cycle with a cleaner pod that I had. When the cycle ended, the smell had subsided slightly and was now mixed with the clean scent of the pod. I tried running another cycle the next day with new dishes in it and the smell still remains. To make the story short, it has been a couple of days since this thing was installed, at the end of the cycle, things smell badly, and the interior of the dishwasher stinks. The smell is like burnt oil mixed with a bit of smelly burnt fish and is quite disgusting. Dishes smell like that too, to the point that I have to rinse the glasses or drinking water tastes bad. Today I called BestBuy and I had one of the best experiences with their customer service. A big thumbs up to them. Next week, I'm getting this lemon replaced with a new Whirlpool dishwasher that I hope will be a worthy successor of my previous one. I can leave without the third rack and the super quiet performance. I just want my dishes to be spotless clean and smell free.

Quiet and simple to use without all the thrills with other dishwashers. Dishes come out clean and the push buttons make it easy to use.

I love my new Bosch dishwasher. It does a great job cleaning off stuck on foods and greasy dishes. The unit is very very quiet. I barely hear it running. I recommend it.

Love third rack and flexibility to have 1 Hour wash.

This is the best dishwasher I've ever used! Cleans really well and very quiet.

I turned it on the first time and it was so quiet I wasn't sure it started until I heard a water sound in my sink. I used the manufacturer recommended detergent and I have been thrilled with how clean and shiny my dishes are.

As advertised does the job well, is quiet and efficient

So far so good... product is much sturdier and quieter than our previous Whirlpool model. Pricier but worth the extra $245 to date. Also, we love the 3rd rack.

I like the layout of the shelves of the Kitchenaid better (which I think better holds U.S.-style dishes), but I was sold by the anti-leak technology.

Got this unit when our old dishwasher died. Can't believe how quiet this unit is. We can barely hear it running. Does a good job getting the dished clean. We really like the additional silverware tray.

Excellent service, delivery and installation. Great communication from delivery team regarding day/time. Very knowledgeable about the product. This dishwasher is awesome, I run full loads on Auto cycle and they are crystal clean. I have zero complaints!

Bolch 300 Series. Like that it heats very well and you can wash dishes in 1 hour to 2 & 1/2 hours and it shows how long left on cycle. Only drawback, would like bottom drawer divisions to be closer, but there may be a reason for that.

The door is a bit stiff but am loving the 3rd rack!

It does not dry the dishes right after the cycle is finished. You have to wait over night to find the dishes dried. Even after that time, the drawers will be dripping water. I tried all different cycles, always with extra dry function, including the auto several times getting always the same result. It is not what was promised in the videos Bosch has on line.
