After looking at many reviews and speaking with a handyman who came to fix my other dishwasher who said that this dishwasher is the ultimate best to buy. However, after using it for a little over a month now I would say I wish I would’ve bought a different brand of dishwasher. Let me explain, first of all of course Best Buy did not have a sample in the store and that would’ve been probably most helpful and if I could’ve at least seen it in person and asked more questions because the sales person really didn’t know much about the brand dishwasher. But of course I took the advice of my handyman Or plumber And then I had with this Bosch dishwasher. My advice would be to make sure you see the product in person and go with More facts. my question and I guess I should’ve just waited until I really felt comfortable with the best one.

Great addition to my kitchen, it's so quiet you can't hear it running.

The dishwasher is fine other than the utensil rack. That is a huge disappointment. It is wasted space and takes up room at the top of the dishwasher so taller cups do not fit on the rack for glasses and cups because the utensil rack is there. They should have left the utensil container on the bottom corner where they belong. Having to take the time to place each individual utensil in specified slots is annoying and a waste of time.

So far, this dishwasher is doing a good job. I found that baby oil keeps the outside stainless steel clean and shiny.

I just moved to my new house, so the smell that comes out of the machine could be pluming related, but it does smell when you have the door closed for a day. I bought it specifically because the sales man said it won't smell. Stinks.

Works great but it is not the fastest. Some cycles take 3 hours. There are several nice features that make up for the slow cycles. The third rack on the top is great for over sized utensils. The adjustable top racks is nice too.

This is the best dishwasher I've ever owned, and I've owned many! It's quiet, cleans beautifully on the automatic setting, and we love the clean profile.

The Bosch 300 thoroughly cleans dishes and is delightfully quiet. Operating instructions are easy to understand. One slight drawback is that the dishwasher is still wet after the cycle; dishes are dry.

VERY happy with this dishwasher... First, it's the quietest one we've ever owned, which is important for us because we have an open floor plan house. The dishwasher is literally about 2 feet from our couch... and we don't even notice when it's running. Even more importantly, the dishes come out super clean. With my old washer, I often spent lots of time cleaning every speck of foreign matter off my dishes before loading them in. Now I do still have to scrape off anything that's really been dried on for a few days, but I just load everything else in, and it all comes out spotless. Also, the third rack is great for large utensils and small flat items like measuring spoons.

The new Bosch dishwasher is great! It’s so quiet it’s hard to tell if it’s running. Dishes are so clean. Delivery and install done by Best Buy was well done.

Replace a Maytag Gold series with this model. Much quieter and does a better job of cleaning dishes. Rarely do we rinse anything off before putting into dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher to replace a Whirlpool that served my family well with at least a wash per day for 11 years. The main reason I decided to get rid of the old model was that dishes were coming out smelly. I chose the Bosch because it was rated best in all the professional reviews that I found. I got a special Memorial Day deal at BestBuy with the (normally $180) installation included for free. The installers did a good job and after they left I filled the racks lightly to try it. The dishwasher ran incredibly quiet, to the point that I had to place my hand on the door to feel that it was actually running. After the cycle completed, I opened the door and stinky smell that seemed like a mix of tar and burnt salmon came out from inside. The smell made the smell of my old dishwasher seem like roses in comparison. I imagined this was a "first run" kind of thing, so I took the dishes out and ran an empty cycle with a cleaner pod that I had. When the cycle ended, the smell had subsided slightly and was now mixed with the clean scent of the pod. I tried running another cycle the next day with new dishes in it and the smell still remains. To make the story short, it has been a couple of days since this thing was installed, at the end of the cycle, things smell badly, and the interior of the dishwasher stinks. The smell is like burnt oil mixed with a bit of smelly burnt fish and is quite disgusting. Dishes smell like that too, to the point that I have to rinse the glasses or drinking water tastes bad. Today I called BestBuy and I had one of the best experiences with their customer service. A big thumbs up to them. Next week, I'm getting this lemon replaced with a new Whirlpool dishwasher that I hope will be a worthy successor of my previous one. I can leave without the third rack and the super quiet performance. I just want my dishes to be spotless clean and smell free.
