No Heating Element to dry your dishes!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wasn't exactly the model I was looking for, but Best Buy was offering free installation, so I caved in and made the purchase. Well Bosch is truly one of the leaders when it comes to kitchen appliances. This machine is quiet, smooth, and efficient! The buttons are on the top surface of the door so they're not accessible once the machine is on. A red light shines on the floor to indicate that the machine is running. If you're looking for a new dishwasher, a stainless steel tub is superior to that of a plastic tub, but you'll also be paying for it. The only other option is whether you have a bar handle or not. The bar is the premium, otherwise you will most likely have a handle carved out in the door. The only other notable really is that this model does not come with a heating element to dry your dishes, rather the machine uses the natural heat from the wash load to dry the dishes and leave them spotless. However, this means that you have about a 90-120 minute from when the cycle ends to remove the dishes. Once the tub begins to cool, the moisture will recondense back to H2O, and your load will be wet again. This is a huge inconvenience as you will not be able to run the dishwasher before going to bed and emptying the dishwasher in the morning. Lastly, rinsing or soaking the dishes before loading and washing ensure a cleaner load (I've let it sit in the dishwasher for 2 days and there was some really caked on stuff that was still a tad stubborn after the wash). Overall, the lack of a heating element was kind of a bummer, but otherwise, I'm happy with the features and performance of this machine. I'd recommend the Bosch line in general as they are solid machines, but I don't know if I'd recommend this particular model as the heating element is a bummer.

Great dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The higher Bosch model that we wanted wasn’t available so we got this mid range because it was in stock. It has been great. It’s very quiet that you can barely hear it running. I run it on the speed cycle which is 1 hour and 10 minutes and haven’t had any issues with dirty dishes. The regular cycle is 2 hours and 25 minutes which is just too long for a busy household of 7. I didn’t think the third rack was necessary but I love it for wooden spoons, large utensils, and even a cookie tray fits up there. I use 7th generation liquid detergent. There is condensation when the cycle is complete but the dishes are dry once the air hits them. You need to wait a couple minutes to unload because the dishes are hot. If you open the dishwasher after the cycle starts (to add that one more dish you just found) you have to push the start button again. I’ve gotten used to that just wanted to mention it. The red light indicator lets you know if it’s running.

Bosch 300
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro's: It's super quiet and has a great configuration. Dishes come out clean and love the 3rd rack. Best Buy customer service and installation were awesome. Cons: It has an awful smell inside that started after the first wash. I dread opening the door due to the smell. It's there all of the time, even after it just finished cleaning everything.

Posted .Hi DarelleP, thank you for your review and we're sorry to hear you're having problem with your dishwasher. To get rid of any smell, please make sure to regularly clean the filter and you can dry a vinegar wash. Run an empty cycle, except for a cereal bowl on the upper rack, upright. Inside the bowl, you're going to put 8oz of white distilled vinegar and run the AUTO cycle. Once the cycle finishes, the smell should go away. If you have any questions regarding service, please contact our 24/7 customer service team at 800-944-2904.

No Brainer Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this thing. If it breaks tomorrow I would buy another one without hesitation. I just bought a home and the dishwasher that was in it was the one that came original with the house. It was absolutely horrible. I could run 2 heavy duty cycles and anything in the top rack looked like it didn’t even get touched with water. This thing is an absolute beast. Everything you put in here will come out virtually spotless. The only times I’ve had something come out with spots on it (no dirt or food, just spots) was a couple forks or spoons I used for my animals wet food that had dried and solidified on the utensils. It’s incredibly quiet, cleans better than any other dishwasher I’ve ever used and the features you get for the price and reliability absolutely cannot be beat. Installation is a breeze, but you do have to buy the 90 degree hose hookup for the back of the dishwasher. I absolutely recommend this and would but it again in a heart beat. It cleans the dishes perfectly and the height adjustable middle rack has proven itself to be extremely useful for some of my taller glasses/cups.

Awesome Dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our third Bosch dishwasher and it is as good as the other two. The main difference with the newer models is that they have become a little more complicated with the settings, so you have to read the manual to get it to do what you want it to, but it still cleans dishes exceptionally well and is so quiet they added a small light that projects on the floor telling you when it's on. We also like the third tray at the top for large knives and the like.

Washes very well. Quiet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Happy with the washer. The third rack does surprisingly well with the silverware and often eliminates the need for the basket which gives you more room on the lower racks. The tines that raise and lower don’t really add much flexibility, not sure what the point of those are. I can’t wash my hour-glass-shaped coffee carafe in the washer because it won’t fit anywhere, but most other items can be accommodated. It does a relatively good job of drying on the high heat mode, but not everything will dry completely. Most plastics, of course, will still have to be towel dried. The best thing about the washer is its cleaning ability. We’re admittedly no very tough on the washer (we scrape everything) but all items come out sparkling clean, even big spoons laid flat in the 3rd rack. The little red light on the floor to indicate that the machine is running is handy so that you know when a cycle is finished. The machine is quiet, too. I mean, you can hear it, but the noise quickly disappears into the background. I love the clean aesthetics. No visible controls, clean lines and no gaudy branding. If you want a dishwasher that is quiet, sharp looking, and leaves things sparkling clean, this is a good choice.

Superior product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to wait several months for the BOSCH Dishwasher to be delivered and installed, due to appliance shortages. It has been installed and I am very pleased with it. It is quiet and does a wonderful cleaning job. Especially like the 3 rd rack for smaller items. It’s a superior superior product.

Wish I could give it 4.5 stars
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not giving this product 5 stars because the setup makes thing difficult to load. The designer overthought the racks tines. But other then that it’s a great dishwasher. It’s silent. If there wasn’t a red light shining I wouldn’t know it’s running. The 3rd rack for utensils is a great feature. Things come out sparkling. Very pleased. Just wish the racks were less confusing

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using my new Bosch - 300 Series 24" Scoop Handle Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub - Stainless steel for about a month now and I absolutely love it. bosch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this dishwasher is very quiet and cleans the dishes very well. I love the top rack for silverware. Inside buttons with no bar give it a sleek look. I had been warned by relatives that their bosch installation required hardwiring with an expert. But our install didn't require this bc it just plugged in to the wall socket.

Amazingly Quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a KitchenAid dishwasher for 24 years, which was still working when replaced, but i wanted an updated dishwasher for my updated kitchen. I've had my Bosch 300 for over a month now and am truly impressed. As others have said, it is SO quiet, you have to check for the red indicator light on the floor to see if it's still running. This new dishwasher gives me more flexibility and options for loading dishes, pans, etc. than i had before. I was a little concerned when the installer said the dishwasher did not have a drying element like my old dishwasher. However, my dishes come out super clean AND dry. All in all, this was a great purchase. Hopefully it will last as long as my old dishwasher....but only years will tell.

I would give the Bosch 300 dishwasher more than 5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After checking Comsumers Report for dishwashers, we chose the Bosch 300. It has exceeded all of our expectation. You can truly put in dishes dirty and they will come out CLEAN AND SPARKLING. Our previous Samsung always had an odor, this Bosch has no odor and is very easy to use. My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

So far so great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have only it a few weeks but works great. I like the 3rd top row & the adjustable 2nd row. Makes it rather flexible for your needs. It's quiet. It does leave moisture on top of glasses (unless I pop open door after completing cycle) but that is no big deal to me as it cleans tough dirty dishes.

Not as spacious as I was hoping
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is a great dishwasher. PROS: - Ultra quiet. - Dishes come out clean. CONS: - The dry function is not great so we end up opening the door after the cycle when we can so the moisture can escape. - It is difficult to put ANYTHING bulky inside. Yes, the racks adjust but we often find a seemingly small sized plate hitting the utensil rack, a dinner plate hitting the middle jets, etc. We didn't have this issue with our ancient Roper dishwasher.

Quiet & cleans great even silverware!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to replace our Whirlpool dishwasher that was only 2 years old because it need a 3rd motor that was going to cost 2/3s of the original price. We had already had to replace supports for the top shelf. This was not a cheap dishwasher but it sure hasn't held up at all so we talked to our appliance guy and he told us Bosch was the brand to get. We read reviews and decided on this model. Wow is it nice! I wasn't sure I would like or care about the 3rd shelf but it is so great for silverware, lids and small dishes. I love that it has options like extra dry and sanitize. It is quiet and gets everything clean without having to prewash stuff.

Top notch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No, it does not talk of tell you to dim the lights. It does handle big loads, cleans the dishes, bowls, pots, glasses, knives and cutlery in an exemplary way, and dries them spotlessly, as it should, but it also does so virtually in silence. So silently in fact that it has a red light that shines on the floor to tell you it is running. We are extremely happy with it in the two weeks since it was installed. Oh, by the way, the Pacific Sales (Best Buy) price was also the best we found, and include extras that we had not anticipated based on visits to other sellers.

Great Machine and SOOOOO Quiet!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice! If you're looking for a great looking, super-quiet dishwasher, this is the one. This washer replaced a 15 year old Whirlpool that I had quite a few problems with over the years. Replaced two main boards on it as well as the heating element. Luckily, I'm a big DYI-er, so I was able to replace them myself saving tons of $$ for labor. First off, I must say, Bosch has AMAZING customer service. After ordering this dishwasher, I received two separate calls from Bosch letting me know the details on how/when my new dishwasher will be delivered and installed. Very kind. Comforting to know in the event I need to contact them in the future. Second, the installation co. was courteous, professional, reliable and efficient. The first thing I noticed after running the dishwasher for the first time was that it's SUPER quiet! After pressing the START button, I literally could not hear the water filling into the tank. Very strange at first. I actually pressed the Stop button, and then started it again to make sure it was actually running. WOW! After the load finished, I was quite pleased with the cleaning results. So far, we've done about 4 full loads using Finish brand Quantum packs. The dishes come out clean and smelling fresh each time. I've noticed (like my old washer) that it's best to use the Extra Dry setting if you want glasses and plastic storage containers to come out more dry after the cycle is done. -- which I'm fine with. The drawers have a good amount of room for dishes, and I love how the height of the top rack can be adjusted up/down a few inches to compensate for taller glasses. It also has a slim rack above that which is great for flat items like additional silverware or larger cooking spoons. The buttons are "push-button" style, which I prefer much more over the "touch" display type. Initially, I was thinking that the timer indicator was showing long washing times (2+ hours), but recently discovered that the timer includes the drying time as well, so the actual wash time is only about 1.5 hours - if that. I'm very happy so far. Functionality, operation, ease of use, etc. Another big plus is that it looks absolutely beautiful in our kitchen. Very nice "flush-mount" design and the stainless finish looks durable and sleek. Give this one a try. It would be hard to say anything negative about it. After all, it is a "Bosch." From what I hear, they are the best in the biz when it comes to dishwashers. Looking forward to having this one for many years to come

Bosch is the best
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is quiet and the only time you hear it is when water is coming into wash the dishes. It cleans all the dishes and we do not scrub them off before we put them in the dishwasher. We liked the third level for the silverware. This is why I gave it 5 stars and I would tell all my friends and family to buy this Bosch.

Quiet good dishwasher that needs heated dry
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the dishwasher based on consumer reports review, here's my review after using it for a few weeks. Positive: Very quiet during operation; Useful 3rd rack makes organizing utensils so much easier! Adjustable 2nd rack accommodates taller pots at the bottom; Porcelain and metal pots dries good (but plastics don't) Negative: Cheap feeling plastics and buttons on the pocket handle and top panels; Plastics don't dry at all (not sure why consumer reports rated this as good); Some of the hard stuck on food on pots still left after wash (might be due to how I placed the pots); Lots of humidity and water drops still left on the tub after wash, you need to open the door after wash to vent and dry the tub and plastic food containers. Overall it is a good dishwasher, it generally comes out clean and dry, the only negative is that I wish it had heated dry so the tub interiors and plastics are not wet after wash.

Great Dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been VERY pleased with the new dishwasher. It's quiet, is well "organized" (we weren't sure we needed the third rack for sliverware, but wow, is that handy), does a great job, and looks good. Definitely recommend it.
