Can't get the Extra Dry feature to work, and instructions are confusing.

Good machine so far. Excellent job of installing. Love the quiet operation.

I just purchased this, but I needed to get some additional plumbing done - So I'm still waiting to do my first load.

Super Quiet, Dries very well, holds a lot of dishes

I read many positive reviews on this - mine stopped working after 3 cycles. Called The 800 number for Bosch who told me it was installation issue (very snotty contractors they refer you to). Contacted Best Buy who sent a crew 4 days later - not an installation issue! So here I sit a week and half later after taking 2 half days from work and spending $800 dollars washing dishes by hand. Best Buy has still not contacted me. What a terrible experience.

Very quite I’ll give it that! Doesn’t dry dishes well at all. Water stay in tub and starts to smell. Very disappointed in the fact that ratings were good for this dishwasher on CR and other sites and it is far from good. Only washed about 4 loads and have buyers remorse!

The dishwasher works well, but some of its components feel a bit flimsy. I'm not confident it will last many years before breaking.

You have yet to install product...A MONTH AFTER DELIVERY!!!

While I love my dishwasher, I would not recommend buying and installation by Best Buy. A total disaster.

It worked for what we needed it to do which is wash dishes...

We bought this dishwasher after extensive shopping, particularly because the reviews said it was quiet. And it IS VERY QUIET! But when we ran it, and first opened the door, there was a very bad odor inside the unit, like a very sour sponge. It happened again and again, until our coffee mugs started to smell bad as well. We arranged to return the dishwasher, but before the techs came to pull it out, I called the manufacturer to check on this. They knew immediately what I was calling about, said they get these calls ALL THE TIME. It is due to the waterproofing substance they use in the unit, called bitumen (which is asphalt). She said the odor will gradually go away, or I could run the unit with a bowl of white vinegar in the top of it, on a heavy cycle, and that will eliminate the odor more quickly. I ran this cycle twice, and the odor is almost completely eliminated. So we cancelled the pick-up and kept the unit. It is fantastic. I can't believe that Best Buy didn't know about this odor situation and was going to accept the return rather than telling us how to solve the problem. We would recommend this unit to a friend, but ONLY with those instructions about how to get rid of the odor.

I had to get rid of my 16 year old GE dishwasher because the plastic interior started to break down and the wires on the drawers were rusted and rotten. It was a very good dishwasher. This Bosch 300 is pretty good. It smells like rubber and gets really hot. I don't like the fact there is no override in the drying cycle. I prefer to save the energy and let the dishes dry naturally in its own time. You have to keep an eye on the filter. Had to clean it out thoroughly already and I have only ran about 7 cycles. I thought Bosch was suppose to be a good name but I preferred my GE better.

Love it. So quiet I have to sometimes check to see if it is operating. Very well built.

Very disappointed in this purchase, which is about a 18 months ago. At first the dishwasher worked very well. Then we started to notice the dishes were not as clean. The unit absolutely requires Finish Rinse but we noticed it wasn't totally rinsing that stuff off, which is not good as it's a strong chemical that you then ingest if you don't rinse your dishes afterwards. I wondered if we got a lemon. Then I went on line and there were all kinds of guidance for just this issue and many stated that the Bosch units "don't like grease". We always do a quick rinse on our stuff before we load it, but this is ridiculous. I'd honestly rather have a loud dishwasher that works reliably, instead of finding half of the dishes unclean. Zero confidence in it. Wish we'd spent half the money on a Whirlpool and just replaced if, if needed, in a couple of years. This is overpriced and no longer a quality unit. I agree with reviewers who said it works great at first. But after about 9-12 months: NO.
