The Bosch brand simply cannot be beat. They have always outperformed other brands we have tried over the years. One thing that still is a problem with all new style dishwashers is that the plastic cups, containers, etc. do not get dry even on "extra dry" cycle.

Buyer Beware. I had not purchased a Best Buy 5-year protection plan and now regret that decision! I purchased in in 9/2019 (4 1/2 years old) I recently had Bosch come to service the Dishwasher because the front stainless steel panel was rusting and that it was due to a manufacturing defect. Rusting is a slower process that will not show up in the first year of usage which is all their warranty covers. We have only been sponging it clean with soap and water, never any chemicals. They would not cover any portion of the $373.44 cost to replace it (appliance cost $764.95 originally!). They are not a company who stands behind their products beyond what is technically covered in their warranty, even if it is a manufacturing (not usage-caused) defect.

Washing is okay. Occasionally dishes need to be washed a second time. However, drying is awful. Even if we use the "extra dry" option our dishes are very wet and we have to dry them by hand. If we had known this in advance we wouldn't have bought this dishwasher.

We'e had problems with our Bosch 300 dishwasher from the start, one year ago. Bosch representatives have repeatedly promised undewarranty service by a trained Bosch technician, but this never happens. We have also been promised a new bottom rack within a week, but after more than a month that has not happened. Our bottom rack keeps sliding off the rails and jams, even when not fully loaded, and that makes using the dishwasher very difficult. This may be a great machine if you never need service, Not happy in El Paso!

The noise level is rated 44db and Bosch makes a big deal about how quiet their dishwashers are. However, my unit is nosier than my old Kitchenaid dishwasher! You can clearly hear the water spraying inside the unit when you stand in front of it. The stainless steel front seems also a little bit flimsy. It is very flexible and my unit had some spots from the packing or assembly process that I couldn't buff out. For $700 I would have expected better quality.

Bought the 300 series dishwasher from Best Buy about 4 years ago. The lettering on the dishwasher next to each button has come off, poor quality, cant tell what each button is for. Have contacted Bosch and opened an incident with them, was informed they will not stand behind the poor workmanship and quality and wont address the issue. Very disappointing. Wont purchase another Bosch.

this product is defected. Bottom rack falls down even when it is not loaded much. The worse is; there is no solution for it. We have been waiting for 3 months for them TO FIND A SOLUTION.. Because they don't have a solution. Beside, we are not alone. There are two other families have the same situation in our area I know. It is also not possible to reach their customer service DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Worked great for a couple of months, then started leaving more and more grime on the dishes til 6 months in it's worse than the 30 year old model it replaced and we're back to hand washing. The technician who installed it told us to use Finish brand dishwasher cleaner and detergent, which we have done scrupulously. Best Buy just told us to call the manufacturer.

My 15 month old unit completely stopped responding to all controls, and Bosch won't even answer any questions to troubleshoot it. Complete garbage. It worked fine for about a year, but the quality control on these units is terrible.
