Way more space, and wayyyy quieter than our old washer.

Once we figured out how to operate it, we love it. I would like to have had a "quick guide" somewhere in the paperwork to make it easier to figure out the basics, but the machine works great. My only reason for not giving it a 5? It doesn't dry my dishes the way I would like but that's really the only negative. The 3rd rack is something new to me but once I found out it was an option, I couldn't live without it!

I did a lot of research before I shopped for my dishwasher. When I found an Open Box, Excellent, Like New Bosch 500 Series for $629 I was excited. I mean, who needs a closed box when the contents are 'like new' and ALL PARTS ARE THERE. Well, suffice to say, after almost 2 hours cleaning up oil? grease? sticky goo? off the unit, then $150 to install it, over $40 in parts (which were NOT there) and then it LEAKED! I returned it and will NEVER BUY AN OPEN BOX FROM BEST BUY AGAIN!!! I had to spend another $150 to install the brand new one I bought. All in all, a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I've had this dishwasher for 1 week and have used almost every cycle and after I unload the dishes in the morning there is still water on the inside of the door and all the inner walls. The first thing I did after installation was to fill the rinse holder with Finish but in spite of following all the instructions in the manual the results were the same. Also, many of the items on the top rack were wet as well. The other problem is that you're told not to rinse the dishes because the dishwasher "senses" the soil level and won't wash properly if they've been rinsed. Well that gives you a smell if you don't wash a load every day; there's only two of us-we wash a load every 2 or 3 days. I love the way it looks as it's sleek design fits in with all the appliances in our kitchen but the performance is unacceptable.

So silent when it's running and the top shelf is a great idea.
