Inside of unit and plastic trays remains wet regardless of drying option selection. Have to hand dry inside of unit after every use. Had two prior Bosch driers which dried better leaving no inside moisture. Not happy. Expensive. Not what expected. Do not buy.

The machine runs quietly. But it takes a long time to wash---around 2.5 hours. The machine broke after 3 weeks and caused massive water leak. But it is out of best-buy 15 days period. So I have to contact the Bosch to solve the problem. The waiting period is 10 days. So far I can not use the machine. Very disappointed for the money I paid.

I hate the racks inside this dishwasher! You can’t load very many items! The 3rd rack is a waste of space! You can’t get tall cups in the top rack! It doesn’t clean worth a lick! Definitely not worth the money!!

I did a lot of research on dishwashers. This had the highest ratings for a domestic dishwasher. Unfortunately it does not dry effectively even when you set the extra dry mode.

I’ve had many brands of dishwashers thru the years, not of them can shine a light on this one ! I love the third upper rack, I use it for sharp knives, etc so my dogs don’t get cut (they like to lick dishes, lol) and I love that the rack height is also adjustable to accommodate larger pots and pans if needed, but what I really love is that it is SILENT, you would never know when it is running!! And for that reason it has a small red light that shines on the floor to let you know. Other brands sounded like a jet plane getting ready to take off. I did some research and found out it is made in the USA which is important to me. Yes it costs more than other brands but i was lucky to get 2-3 years out of them. You get what you pay for !! I had it installed by Best Buy and the men were on time, courteous and knowledgeable. I waited to write a review as I was waiting to collect enough useful information for this.

We purchased this dishwasher. On the first cycle we ran, it quit during the middle of the cycle, and the electronic controls would not re-set. We exchanged it for another one, and the same thing happened on the second cycle of the dishwasher. This time, we were able to get the electronics re-set after they had been off for a day. However, we traded it in on a different brand.

They replaced the first one and this one still stinks.

The soap dispenser seems to have started malfunctioning and the soap is no longer properly dissolving to clean the dishes.

It didn't work. Best Buy wouldn't replace it or repair it. Instead, I had to pick out a different model and wait 20 additional days for installation. That's in addition to the two weeks I waited for the initial installation of the broken product. I've been without a dishwasher for almost a month. It will be over 5 weeks if the new model is actually installed on schedule.

Pros...quiet...Cons...Cleaning and drying sucks...

This 500 series dishwasher was delivered and installed on time. It will not drain and has been declared “a lemon.” I await another dishwasher of a different brand and have been without one now for several weeks.

I waited a few months to write this review so that I can provide a good overview of the pros and cons. I purchased this Bosch dishwasher in May 2018. Best Buy sales and delivery team were super! I had to reschedule delivery and the Best Buy customer service call in center was competent and helpful. The old dishwasher was hauled away for a small fee. My husband and I installed this dishwasher ourselves. There is a little bit of rewiring that had to happen, but the instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were included. Some reviewers complained of a smell. I did notice a new dishwasher smell for the first few days. The smell went away after a few loads were run. This dishwasher is incredibly quiet! If it weren't for the indicator light, and a very quiet sound when it first fills, you would never know it was running. Cleaning power is GREAT! I have loaded dishes and silverware with dried on food and they always come out clean. Be sure to scrape off chunks as this dishwasher does not have a disposal blade, only a filter. The filter is easy to remove and clean weekly takes about 30 seconds or less. This dishwasher uses extremely hot water and requires a surfactant drying aid like Finish or Jet Dry, to drive the drying process, so there is no heating element for hot air dry. My dishes, glassware and silverware are always dry, but plastics don't tend to heat up enough with the hot water to drive evaporation, so they tend to be a little wet (especially since plastic storage containers tend to have lips and crevices that hold water). It pretty easy to dry the few plastics I use with a towel before putting them away (or I just shake of the water out of the crevices and let them air dry quickly) - not a big deal. The nice thing about no heating element is you can put plastics anywhere! No need to worry about "top rack" items. I have found that silicone cookware products tend to get a film on them from the drying aid. I don't like that, so I don't put those in the dishwasher. I love the third rack for silverware and small items - so easy to load, and quick to put away! Overall, I love this dishwasher! I definitely recommend it!

Apparently Bosch changed the dimensions of their dishwashers, so a buyer cannot assume this will fit in their existing space. Having previously owned a Bosch, it never occurred to me there would be a problem. The dishwasher had to be sent back, and Best Buy promptly handled the replacement with another brand.

Had it for a week and now needs repairs. Hopefully better once repaired. Bosch is supposed to be the best. We'll see!

Inside door and walls wet when it is done running For $1000 I shouldn't be wiping water off the inside

Horrible purchase experience from Best Buy followed by control panel failure within a week. Best Buy has been non responsive

Lasted about a month then stopped working. Not a good product

I Purchased the open box product, when I had it installed it was not working. I contacted the company, and I have a repair company working on it now. I was sort of disappointed but that’s a part of life.

Get your towel readyx does not dry the dishes.....

It cost almost $400 to install. Best Buy knew this
