I self-installed the dishwasher and it was a breeze, it comes with a box for wiring electrical and a waste-water hose; the only required accessories were a water-line and if you have more than a 6' run, a waste-water hose extension kit. Our dishes come out clean, the metal tub retains heat remarkably well, this dishwasher is so quiet that were it not for the red indicator light we would never know it was on.

This is the greatest appliance ever made!It is super quiet and efficient. I hope to never need to change appliances because this is the one I would like for the rest of my life!

Went 6 months without my beloved Miele dishwasher and was just about to buy another one when I wondered into Best Buy to look for headphones. I saw the manager of the appliance department (Scott) so told him my criteria and surprisingly, he recommend the Bosch Silence Plus dishwasher. He answered every question I had and several that I didn't know to ask. After reading all the reviews, spec sheets and information I could find, I bought the Bosch at Best Buy. It's been two months and I love it more than my old Miele. Some reviews talk about items not drying, but it's a different era than the old ones with a heating element. Open the machine when it beeps and things dry, just like with the Miele. It's better for the environment and the electric bill. I have never used rinse aids, but some reviews said you must. Thank goodness my dishes come out perfect without them. Love the three racks (like my Miele), grey color inside, versatile second rack, deeper third rack, and built-in overflow pan. I've only set the program on auto, but it comes with a bunch of other bells and whistles. The installer (Norman) was professional, quick and courteous. Things that I wish the dishwasher had : an automatic door opener for when it is finished, a front panel that doesn't show finger marks/waterspots and a better gripping surface on the racks so glasses don't slide around when the racks are pulled out too forcefully. The racks are just short of perfect when it comes to stacking dishes, but I'm sure it's a user issue and I'll get better with practice. Overall, I'm thrilled with it and glad I did not rush into buying something else.

Who cares if it takes longer to clean; as quiet as this is, you can carry on a pleasant conversation while you are standing right next to it; even wonder if you remembered to turn it on! Love the flexible loading layouts; gets a lot more dishes in it than our 18 year old one. No flaws found yet, other than a little tricky at first to understand the button sequencing for starting it.

i searched long & hard for a dishwasher with real buttons & Bosch makes a few models with buttons. I bought the 500 series because it was a floor model at a great price. Super quiet, racks roll nice, plastic items dry much better than expected. Best buy install was great & they hauled away the old dishwasher that was only 3 yrs old but touchpad didn't work right.

This was a replacement for a great dishwasher that failed, and I read a lot of reviews. This model was called the best by a couple of reviewers. They were right! We are very happy with it. Exceedingly quiet! Does a better job cleaning and drying than our last model (which did a good job). And a repairman we called said Bosch is very reliable, so hopeful that it lasts a long time. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.

This dishwasher is efficient and very quite to the point you check it to make sure it's running. I have purchased many of these for my job and have never had a problem.

The Bosch is a great dishwasher. It cleans everything much better than the old one. The normal cycle seems longer, but it's so quiet that it doesn't matter. I can go about with whatever I want to do and it doesn't disturb me. If you follow the instructions it does a good job on plastics, tho if you want those completely dry, it's best to run it overnight and unload in the morning.

After 24 years we decided it was time for an update on our dishwasher. After much research, we decided that because of Bosch's excellent name to go with this particular model. QUIET QUIET and CLEAN CLEAN are the best words to describe this appliance. Looks great also. The only feature that we would have like to have seen would be something that would show which cycle the dishwasher was in.

We had a good dishwasher, but we went stainless and love the Bosch products. This unit is a little smaller and I am still learning all the button and how to work the machine. Love the top top rack, didn't think it was a big deal but use it every time I run it for the large spoons etc. I like that this unit tucks in under the cabinet and it more out of the way. It really does a nice job on the dishes as well.

I can't say enough good things about this dishwasher. We found it in the open box area and are so glad we got it. It was almost half off the full price and Bosch's rarely go on sale. It is super quiet. They even installed a red light to shine on the floor so you know it has started. It cleans dishes really well and we love the 3rd rack for silverware. Would definitely recommend this product

We really like this dishwasher. We had the same one at our previous house and chose to install this one at our new house when we moved in. Easy to use and does a great job cleaning. We run it at night then open it to let things dry. We like that it does not have a heating element in the bottom so things do not get melted.

Bought this to replace an existing still working unit. Didn't think there would be much of a difference as we just thought the old unit was looking old. It is much quieter and we no longer do as much prewash rinsing. Cleans everything we have thrown at it. Very pleased with the purchase.

Dishwasher is very quiet and cleans very well. Extra top rack is a plus.

At first I couldn't understand the need for a red light to shine onto the kitchen floor when the dishwasher is running. Then when I started it for the first time, I realized that you can not hear this thing running. It defies belief that a dishwasher can work so well, and be so silent.

Large capacity and very quietwhile doing an excellent job cleaning.
