Racks designed by a man who never washed dishes

The racking system from top to bottom must have been designed by a man who never loaded a dishwasher in his life. The 2nd rack should hold glasses of all sizes. It just holds short ones so if you have stemware and you make the natural choice to the bottom rack there is not a single rack that supports it. The rack wires are so short the glasses fall over and break during cycle. Before you assume I am not smart enough to drop the 2nd rack I will tell you I did and tall stemware still won’t fit. It washes fine but there is only one are that will even hold a plate upright. Absolute Shame

What a Lemon!!!

We have at least three service calls in the last few months and nothing gets fixed. Best Buy does nothing; just passes the buck and tells us to contact Bosch. We financed this $1000+ purchase, and we are making monthly payments to BB for a dishwasher that does NOT work. Oh, and Bosch tells us that the next service visit won’t be until September 15th. So we will be washing dishes by hand for another month and yet making payments to BB for the privilege of hand washing dishes. Thanks BB for having our back!

A plumber came by, looked at it and said it was a control board issue. Bestbuy wiped their hands and said not their problem. Bosch said it’s past its one year warranty so better luck next time. $1,200 for a machine that barely lasted a year. Not of merchantable quality. Buyer beware.

The one star is for best buy itself. This dishwasher was not properly installed. we paid $179 for installation and a pipe was not connected causing leaking and extreme damage to our cabinets. We had to pay $189 to get it fixed. I reached out to best buy not even to cover damages but just to get our installation fee back and they said no. Let me know they understand my frustration but they wont be doing anything to take responsibility for this. The most unprofessional thing I've ever experienced. Will not be shopping here anymore.

We were replacing an old Bosch dishwasher that was no longer cleaning dishes efficiently and we would have to rewash several items. After reading reviews we decided to buy Bosch again but we are having the same problems. I clean the filter often, run empty cleaning cycles and keep the drying agent full so I don’t understand why we’re still getting residue on half of the dishes and they’re coming out with dirty puddles over everything. So frustrated.

It is also recommended to scrape off any excess food soil but not to rinse dishware so that you leave residues and sauces behind for better cleaning performance. We have had the dishwasher for 9 months and found that the silver ware in the third top rack doesn't clean nearly as well as the baskets. We were hoping that the third rack would negate using the baskets, but no. The bigger issue is that the door spring broke so the door flops open. Bosch fixed it under the warranty, but the part was a rope that frayed and broke. When I asked the technician why a stainless steel spring wasn't used, he said it would rust. Ok, I get it but to have the rope fray and break after only 9 months of light use (only every other or third day) shouldn't fray and break. When I asked the technician if this happens frequently, he said "Sometimes." Our other Bosch machine lasted 9 or 10 years without any problems.
