The light shinning on the floor is the only way i can determine if the machine is running. It is sooooooo quiet.

The biggest gripe I have is that my fiesta dishes do not fit as well in this one as they did in the Kitchenaid I had before.

It is very quiet compared to our nearly 30 year old Maytag that finally gave out, but, and for me it's a very large but, it does not dry the dishes anywhere near as well! If you have anything that holds water it will be full when the dishes are done. Mainly this is a problem with plastic storage containers, they need to be placed completely upside down, and the lids need to be verticle. While I thought the upper rack would be really nice for silverware, spoons need to face down only and even then the results are not great for any of the utensils we've washed so far. There are many cycles and options, and frankly my wife has basically no idea how to use them. With the user manual only being available online it is highly unlikely she will read it, so now I get to add full time dish loader to the list. Thanks Bosch, not! If I had it to do over, I would have gone to a simpler, cheaper, and louder dishwasher.

Bosch dishwashers use a condensation drying process known as PureDry™ - an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. An extra hot wash heats dishes during the final rinse. The coolness of the stainless steel interior pulls moisture away from dishes onto the tub walls, where remaining water droplets are drained away. Please note that plastic items do not retain heat as well as other dishware materials and won't dry as quickly. Your model has an additional drying feature, AutoAir®, which automatically releases the door at the end of the cycle to allow fresh air in and moisture out for better drying results. So quiet, we have to use the app to make sure it is running. Third rack for utensils and odd items without compromising room on the other racks. So many ways to adjust racks even one side up the other side down to accommodate cookie sheets on the lower rack and still have room for tall glasses on the top. We loved the sales rep and installer too. My cousin is an appliance repair person and says don’t get anything but Bosch. We were pleasantly surprised there were so many options in stock!

Installer did not demonstrate enough. Still not certain how to really operate it. Seems to clean ok but we rinse dishes before loading into dish washer.
