I had heard that Bosch has the best dishwashers out there and they are right. Great dishwasher.

This dishwasher has a well known defect: It has a foul odor because it doesn't pump out the water well at the end of cycle. Read through the reviews, it's a common problem. If you call the help line, they will tell you to run a sanitize cycle with a bowl full of white vinegar. This is only a one cycle fix. We had a prior dishwasher hooked up and replaced it inline with this Bosch 500. The old dishwasher NEVER had this problem. Until they send this back to the engineers to design a fix, you will probably experience the same problem. It looks nice, when the controls don't get locked up it runs through its cycle and generally cleans the dishes well, but it leaves a god awful egg like smell on the dishes. For this reason, I am entirely repentant for trusting this brand and paying extra for something that was poorly engineered. I'm giving it one star for cleaning because the dirty smell on the dishes make it unusable. Bosch should recall this machine or update the program to have it empty out the hose, or whatever the problem is.

Good dishwasher. I couldn’t even get it to go into the sequence to add it to the app on day one. Customer service tried all of their tricks to no avail and suggested a service appointment. Everything resolved however after I ran a complete wash cycle . Still was a hassle. It does take some practice getting tall plates and glasses to fit even with the adjustable racks.

very quiet, load is always clean and with the air dry where the door opens auto. the load is dry

Excellent item for my household. Works very well and noise level is min.

We paid more money to get the Bosch brand after hearing all the rave reviews. (1) It is not quiet. (2) The water pump that removes the dirty water failed two weeks before our warranty expire. Thank goodness they are replacing it but that also prompted us to buy the extended warranty offerred by Bosch. I am also not a fan of the Wifi features. I miss just having everything you need on the dishwasher panel.
