I love this dishwasher! But keep in mind we've only had it a few weeks - here's hoping I still love it 5 years from now! The features I really like: my first test - we can load knives with peanut butter or cream cheese residue & they come out perfectly clean - I also like that the door pops open at the end of the cycle to allow steam/water to evaporate, so dishes are perfectly dry - the shallow third rack at the top is extremely useful and it's so quiet we can't hear it running. We haven't been able to connect it to our wifi - but also can't imagine ever needing to control our dishwasher remotely.

I bought this 500 series Bosch dishwasher because of the reviews and my experience with Bosch products. I own a Bosch washer and drier that have been running flawlessly for 18 years. The dishwasher is so quiet that I cannot hear it running standing next to it. It cleans really well, and I appreciate the wireless control features even though I probably won't use them after initial setup. Overall, a great dishwasher so far. Hopefully this will be as trouble free as my other Bosch products.

Even though we’ve only had the dishwasher a short time it seems to work well. Cleans and dries the dishes fine. Holds more than our old one did and like the extra rack on top.

Relaced a 40+ year old GE Profile that I had repaired/rebuilt quite a few times, Parts were no longer available and the wire roll out drawers were rusting through. The 500 series Bosch is super quiet and the no pre-rinsing is greatly reducing the water consumption (we are on a rain fed (roof) cistern). The biggest issue is how to arrange the dishes (hold a lot more "stuff" than the old Profile) on the shelves. Super quiet and the dishes are amazingly clean. It does take its time and the internet software (plus the door slightly opens) tells you when it finishes. The "install kit" (sold separately) was a waste of money and definitely go online , download a full sized manual, and print it out.

This is a great diswasher. Having gone to 3 Samsungs and chasing warranty claims, hopefully this will last with greater reliability. Pros: - Quiet operation compared to some other diswashers - Many wash cycle options - Dries well - Appears to be well built unit and does not feel flimsy Cons (not exactly bad cons but something to keep in mind): - Rack adjustments can be complicated - Wash cycle does not display time remaining unless using the app. Usually a standard feature in this price range - only one smallish cutlerey rack provided. Additional can be puchased. Overall, well worth the price especially if picked up at a sale price

Looks great in my kitchen. Love the 3rd rack for cutlery. Frees up space in bottom rack for bigger items. Quiet. Easy to operate.

I got this to replace a dishwasher that was on its way out. A friend has this model and loved it. The dishwasher is very quiet, so much that I sometimes wonder if it’s even on. I’m not a fan of the racks. I can’t quite load the dishes the way I’m used to. Likewise. The silverware basket is smaller than I’m used to. I love the auto air feature that cracks open the dishwasher when the cycle is complete. This lets it air out until you unload. I don’t think it dries very well, even glass. The rinse aid doesn’t help and gets used up quickly.

This Bosch dishwasher easily installed in place of an old, worn out Bosch that lasted 13 years. I bought a new water line kit as the connections had changed and the line and connections didn't come with the new unit. The new one is quiet and I think it is getting quieter as it breaks in. Cleans the dishes well enough. Don't like that there's no LED numbers to tell how long until it finishes. Like that it pops open at the end on the air dry cycle. Five stars if it is still working in ten years.

It’s so quiet I have to look for the light on the floor to tell if it’s running. I love the third rack for silverware & cooking items. I didn’t think I would use the WiFi app but it enables me to more easily make selections for cleaning & set up saved custom cleaning jobs.

I love that this dishwasher is very quiet and the third rack is a great bonus! The auto air setting does leave plastic items wet, but without it things dry well. Still trying to figure out how much detergent to use to prevent spotting because the dishwasher manual just says to add detergent, and my detergent says to add according to dishwasher instructions, lol!

I bought this dishwasher on recommendation from a family member and have been happy with it in the nearly months that I've had it. This is an excellent, efficient, and quiet dishwasher. It's build quality is superb and every part feels premium. I installed it myself with very little difficulty because the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is so much more efficient (both in time and water usage) than my previous ~12 year old dishwasher. The various cleaning cycles are great, the "auto air" feature ensures that dishes are dry, and the red "running" light that illuminates a small spot on the floor is very useful.

We do not like the left over water spots on inside of door after the machine has finished. Our old machine was plastic inside and that didn't happen. We know this is small concern, but wanted to tell you. The dishwasher is very quiet and we really like that. Plus, it gets our dishes clean.

I have had this dishwasher about a month. It is very quiet and does a great job! I wasn't sure about the third rack, but I use it all the time.

Everything works exactly as expected, and this is by far the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I literally have to put my ear right next to it to hear it running. The only downside is the smart features. I just can’t get them to work. I haven’t been able to connect it to my phone using Bosch’s Home Connect app; it gives me an error every time I try. It wouldn’t be a big issue, except there’s one setting that can only be configured through the app, which makes it a bit frustrating.

I absolutely love this dishwasher. My dishes come out so clean and dry and the 3rd lrack is a complete game changer. We got an open box item so there was some damage to the outside but overall I’m so happy with it.

Wonderful dishwasher. Cleans dishes wonderfully. But has a bad smell with infrequent use. We don’t have a lot of dirty dishes and end up running it once or twice a week. In between washes, the dishwasher develops a bad smell. Possibly from the water that stays in the bottom all the time. Really bad experience with installation. Apparently the door spring cord got bumped on the initial install, so when the wash cycle ended and the door slams open. It slams open so hard that it tore up the mounting brackets. Took three visits from two different firms to figure it out and fix it. I had to research the symptoms, purchase a cheese grater mounting bracket and give it to the final installer to resolve.

This is my second Bosch dishwasher (the first is in my in-law apartment at our daughter’s home) and I wouldn’t consider any other brand in our price range. In fact, my daughter loved ours so much that she bought one for her kitchen as well. It runs so quietly that I only know it is running by the red light that reflects on the floor. I especially love the way the top rack is designed for flatware.

I really love this Bosch model. I didn't give it a full 5 because I think selecting the settings is a bit confusing and it came with very little instructions. Other than that, I like it. I think they have done a wonderful job with the interior design. I can accommodate more plates and they stay in place. The machine does a thorough job cleaning everything. I like that the filter is easy to remove to clean, It doesn't have a heating element and I actually appreciate that because the circulation system that it has works well and my dishes are completely dried unlike other reviews I have read.

This product is so close to being good. It's quiet, it cleans well, it looks sharp. But two things hold it back: loading and operation. A key goal of product design is that the product should be simple for the end user. Whoever designed the layout in Bosch dishwashers should be fired. The prongs are angled so steeply that they make it impossible for certain dishes to fit and create a large amount of wasted space. I can fit maybe half of what I used to fit in my whirlpool dishwasher, in the same amount of space. The other pain is that there is no way to cancel a cycle once it has started, and it starts very easily with the brush of a hand. You can pause a cycle, but if say you forgot to select the autodry option, or you wanted a shorter run, or not as hot, too bad! It absolutely has to go through that entire cycle. Hitting reset does nothing but reset that specific wash you've started. At this price point I can't recommend it to anybody when there are so many products with less aggravation. In the photos: I used to fit four black dinner bowls easily, now I have to use this wonky setup to fit two bowls max, when these are our main plates. You can also see how much wasted space exists when the prongs block out all that area against the front of the tray.
