Today it started leaking with in months of use. It is under warranty but who has the time ti deal with that. A cheaper brand served me way longer. Also if you dont leave it open after it is run a cycle it will have a smell. Now I dont run it if I am not available to pryit open after it is done. In total I am so annoyed byit than pleased. Go for a different brand. When I saw a similar review ithough maybe one apple. It doesnt seem so.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge mistake buying this dishwasher. Within one year the computer motherboard was fried. Bosch has been very difficult to work with. We have had three certified Bosch repairman out who have attempted to fix it. The First certified Bosch repairman told us that the motherboard was designed for German electricity and has to be adapted for American electricity, and thus it goes out a lot. Still after three repair man, four months of no dishwasher it doesn’t work.

We have had the dishwasher for 9 months and found that the silver ware in the third top rack doesn't clean nearly as well as the baskets. We were hoping that the third rack would negate using the baskets, but no. The bigger issue is that the door spring broke so the door flops open. Bosch fixed it under the warranty, but the part was a rope that frayed and broke. When I asked the technician why a stainless steel spring wasn't used, he said it would rust. Ok, I get it but to have the rope fray and break after only 9 months of light use (only every other or third day) shouldn't fray and break. When I asked the technician if this happens frequently, he said "Sometimes." Our other Bosch machine lasted 9 or 10 years without any problems.
