Will probably get the hang of it in time. Did not like the placement of the utensil basket, which should be in the front of the draw, rather than in the rear. The washing is so quiet that you do not know in is working, unless you note the little dim line that is on the floor in front of the unit. Also, it is so tight when closed that odors build up when the door is closed, and you cannot leave it ajar as it then sticks out too far and can be a hazard.

I now have this new Bosch 500 and am so happy I do.

Use Finish® Jet Dry® rinse aid to help dishes dry faster. *This doesn't have to be added for each cycle, you fill the reservoir then the dishwasher will indicate when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled.* 2. For everyday use, we recommend Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. 3. Select special drying options like "Sanitize and Extra Dry". Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. If these tips do not help improve drying, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-944-2904 for additional assistance. Thank you.
Great Dishwasher - the App not so good

We originally bought the 800 series and returned it because it got so hot it tarnished our silverware. This one does not. A negative is our experience with the associated app. We could not install it and the installer could not install it. The Geek squad came and they installed it. We called but the person on the phone could not help us.

Cleaning is incredible, even for the speed 60 (one hour) option. For heavily soiled, caked-on dishes, the heavy setting gets everything crystal clean. The drying is efficient and effective.

It is dead quiet to where we have to look for the red light at the bottom to see if it is on. It cleans amazingly, and the fact that the door opens when it is done to eliminate condensation and bacteria growth and assist with drying is a game changer. highly recommended if you don't want to spring for the more expensive 800 series but want something with more features than the 300 series.

(1) It is not quiet. (2) The water pump that removes the dirty water failed two weeks before our warranty expire. Thank goodness they are replacing it but that also prompted us to buy the extended warranty offerred by Bosch. I am also not a fan of the Wifi features. I miss just having everything you need on the dishwasher panel.

It's quiet, fast, and tells you when it's done. They're expensive but they last. The top shelf is a really nice addition.

And we do like the drying for the dishes at the end mostly dried. The different cycles are hard to understand. I need the videos to be to the point because i dont have a lot of time to watch a bunch of videos. Thank you for making our replacement dishwasher better. My mom said excellent service, the men were very professional and patient and kind.

I'm so glad I took the plunge for this reason alone even though it was not part of the reason why I replaced my dishwasher with this Boss Bosch! I have NO problems and it works really well.
