After consulting, consumer reports, I purchased a Bosch dishwasher because they were the biggest rated. I hate it! I don’t like the racks: the third rack seems unnecessary and interferes with the operation of the middle rack. I keep pouring rinse aid in it and it seems to go into a bottomless hole. The angle of the tines in the bottom rack seem backwards to me.

I had high hopes for this dishwasher as it is a Consumer Reports recommended model, but the unit is defective. It shows an E31 error message, which I am told is a malfunctioning heat pump. This is disappointing for a brand new machine. I will give Bosch credit for friendly telephone customer service reps, but not for much else. They use a service contractor in my area, and the contractor was unwilling to try to come when I am available, so I have to work with their schedule, which means a week before they can repair the unit (if it can be repaired), The first thing the contractor did was to inform me that if the problem was not a manufacturing defect I would be responsible for the cost of the service call, and the email from Bosch states I have a "credit" toward the repair, not that it will be covered in full, which leaves me wondering they will try to get out of paying. I would return the unit to Best Buy, but I paid my handyman to install the unit as part of a larger kitchen project and I would be out the cost of the installation. Based on this experience I recommend neither this dishwasher, nor Bosch.

Finally tried a boshe and it’s not all they say Bought this an open box and Best Buy claims to check that the open box isn’t damaged when returned. I installed it and never got one cycle out of it. Alarmed immediately at install. Had a broken mother board and cost 300$ and a broken flow sensor. The tubing wasn’t connected inside the unit. Best Buy is my standing behind there open box they are aweful. Least they could do is send me credit for the amount of trouble I’m going through with a unit

Looks good and working very well. Very pleased with the 800 series.

we are very disappointed in this unit. the WiFi download does not work. stacking dishes in a real issue, small cereal bowls are out of the question. does not dry well. can't get in touch with Bosch to get information. would not buy another Bosch product. what ever crystal dry is, is a mystery. after cycle is finished the inside of the tub is still wet?

Broke after less then a year, have had no dishwasher for over a month now and Bosch has terrible customer service. No communication between Bosch and their technician to get parts ordered or the machine replaced. Do not buy.

So disappointed. Purchased and the tech who came out said he did not have a water line long enough, even though I found the water line kit inside the unit after he left it in my dining room. Called a trusted plumber, they came out and installed for just under $300 additional dollars. Now, 2 days later, I have an error code that there is something wrong with the door and Best Buy cannot come out and fix it for 2 more weeks. If they do not fix it, I will be returning it. I do not like the design of the dishwasher either, as you cannot tell if it is on because the display does not light up after it starts. My last dishwasher was a Bosch and it lasted 23 years, but this one seems fragile and picky. I will not buy another one if they cannot fix this one, and also, disappointed in wait times over the phone (total of over a hour on hold) for Geek Squad.
