Disappointing performance

Bought this top of the line machine to replace a 10 year old Bosch, which in retrospect got the dishes cleaner than this machine. Had Best Buy technician out to see what the issue was. He said because this machine uses so little water, food particles get stuck on soap that hasn’t washed out of one’s machine, and deposited back on the dishes. Tried cleaning machine per his recommendation and moving to liquid soap, 1 tsp per cycle. Small food specks still being deposited on dishes I know had no food particles on them going in. Feels horrible having spent this much money on something that doesn’t perform well at all.

I bought the Bosch 800-series. However, I'm not completely happy yet. The unit smells like stale food, and the worst thing is, I can smell that on the dishes. I will be calling Support to see if I can sort it out.
