Just okay

Did not clean dishes
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our Bosh would not clean dishes. It never melted the detergent tab. We then tried to simply put detergent in the bottom and that didn't work. We did all the internet things we found to try and then had the tech out from Best Buy. He could not figure it out either so we returned it and got a LG.

Not Worth It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We upgraded to this unit from an ancient and cheap Roper dishwasher only because we got this on a discount. Even with the discount I'm disappointed. Right off the bat I was worried the 3rd rack would be a waste and I was totally right. It's too shallow to put anything worthwhile inside it and I've yet to pull something out of there and have it be clean. My solution? I took it out. This allowed me to move the center rack to its highest position and still fit tall glasses, leaving more room for bigger things on the bottom rack. Major improvement. I also don't like that the silverware holder can't be put in the front of the bottom rack. I used to be able to quickly pop open the door to add a fork, but not with this washer. You have to drop the door all the way down and pull the bottom rack out to access it. Boo. I thought the folding tines would be helpful--it doesn't make any difference. Marketing gimmick at best. Putting a glass in the far corners of the bottom rack will disappoint you. It will come out dirty on the inside like it was never in there in the first place. This wasn't a problem with my Roper. It's quiet--which is great--but combine that with finicky controls and it'll frustrate you. Several times I've thought I've started a wash cycle only to come back and open it only to find it cold, empty, not running, and that insipid display blinking at me. Oh, and that display? You can't see it with the door closed. So why bother with a timer display? Totally useless unless you want to open the door during the cycle to see the time and get water sprayed all over. In general the user interface is a pain. The "buttons" need to be pressed hard to make a selection. And I don't trust it will do what it says it will. The drying function? I have yet to see it dry anything properly. So... comparing my 20 year old Roper to this thing SHOULD be like comparing a 1998 Ford Escort to a 2019 BMW.... and the Escort holds its own quite nicely. I'd keep the Bosch for the quietness and lack of rusted tines, nothing more. Not worth the price, even with 35% off. Not happy with this purchase at all.

Not open box excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as open box excellent. Got it home & it was missing everything including the electrical box. Leveling feet were broken & hose connector to garbage disposal was cut off. Will never shop at this Best Buy Store in Brighton. Returned to a Best Buy that was closer to my house.

Worst exerience ever with Best Buy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought DW, charged to BB credit card, but they would not deliver and install. Have talked to Corporate BB, but they have no answer as to why. After 4 weeks without a DW, picked it up at store and had another company install. Will not buy appliances again from BB.

What a great dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shopping around, my wife and I were comparing the Bosh Samsung and LG units. We went with the Bosh. Install was fast and they really did a great job! Previous unit had trim spacing, and the Geek Squad installer went above and beyond making that fit as it was. The dishwasher cleans so well. My previous Maytag was not doing as well given a single bottom spinner. This Bosh is so quiet you don't know it's on. The most I hear is water passing out through the disposal for a few seconds. The LED light is great, though I wished it'd turn green when done. This does not have a dry unit, but I have had no issues with that. Dishes are clean, even if caked on food is loaded (we tried not pre rinsing). Surprisingly with no drying unit, the dishes are very very dry when done. Like any other dishwasher I owned with a dry element, if you don't get them out right away they can have residual water on them (lids especially). Never thought about a top third rack but that is convenient. They really put a lot of thought into the product. The quality is amazingly good.

Stinky Bosch dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got a Bosch dishwasher two days ago. It came with a foul odor like old fish. It is not designed to drain off water after washing and water left becomes smelly. I have tried to air it out but it doesn't help. The basket handles are thin and the baskets that slide wobble side to side. They are not made or fit as well as kitchen aide. There seems to be no quality in mind with these weak basket Even the stainless steel front is not good looking and more of a dull granite steel color. The washer door, sides and back are left wet after washing and need wiping out every time it's used. I don't need more work with a dishwasher, but less, and certainly not a bad odor on top of it.

Very Quiet and lots of room
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale about a month ago and so far love this machine. So different from my previous one. This dishwasher is so quiet we can be in same room and can not tell it is on without the convenient red light projecting onto the floor. By removing the silverware holder from the bottom tray and placing the silverware and utensils on the third tray (top tray) you gain extra room to add dishes to the bottom tray. The configuration of the 3 trays also allows for various ways to maximize loading capacity. Because there is not heating element and it you do need to open door after it is finished so plastic containers dry off. If I forget, then I just put the plastic containers in my dish rack to air dry.

Going on 3 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy in October 2015. My decision was based on a Bosch built-in dishwasher I had in a home in the early 2000's that was great. Yes, this one is very quiet and uses less water, cleans the dishes well. The dishes do not dry which is a pain so you do need to open the door a bit so they can air dry. It heats at the end of cycle but this is not a drying cycle, it is a sanitize cycle. The top utensil rack is a weird configuration and takes some getting use to and if some utensils cannot fit there then you would need to use the utensil basket on the bottom rack that takes up a good amount of room. I removed it. Then there is a filter on the bottom you do need to unscrew and take out to clean every so often depending on how much you use the washer. If you do not then it smells. I started pouring a cup of white vinegar in the bottom when I complete unloading. This helps. For the cost I paid 3 years ago ($900) I would expect this washer to not only clean but dry my dishes. Another thing is the spray wands under the racks hold residual water that when you go to unload you need to unload from bottom up to the top rack or else they drip water all over the dishes below the rack you are unloading. Then once again you need to hand dry the wet dishes. If the above does not bother you then this is a great dishwasher.

Excellent Purchase!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this dishwasher 13 months ago and haven’t looked back since! It is absolutely the best one I’ve ever owned. So super quiet you have no idea it’s running. The loudest noises that come from it is when it’s draining, and that cycle tends to scare me sometimes because I forgot I turned it on! Dishes always come out extremely clean, and I’ve never had a problem. Plastic items such as Tupperware tend to come out wet even after going through the extra dry cycle. But that’s a small price to pay for the otherwise awesome performance this machine provides.

Everything we hoped for in a new dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We initially purchased a similarly priced KitchenAid and were just not satisfied with it and exchanged it for this Bosch. It has been almost 6 months now and we could not he happier with that decision. What we especially love about this dishwasher, and where we felt the KitchenAid fell short, is that it simply holds an enormous amount of dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. Despite having the third rack up top, it is still better at accommodating our dinner plates down below (or even a arger cutting board), and tall glasses on the second rack, while still having room for the top rack. It also swallows up far more plates than the KitchenAid could manage. The layout of the racks and the use of space is simply far more efficient, at least four our needs. Beyond the capacity, the dishwasher cleans incredibly well, with the occasional exception for particularly dirty items on the small top rack. Our main concern, and the reason we did not go with Bosch to begin with, was the drying capability. For those that share a similar concern I want to reassure you this has been a complete non-issue for us. I am being 100% sincere here in saying that the dishes, at least with the "Extra Dry" setting, come out just as dry, if not dryer(!) than the KitchenAid. At least this is our experience. Yes, if we have a lot of plastics, those items will still have some moisture, but this was happening in the KitchenAid as well. Bottom line is that this has proven to be one of the few appliance purchases we've made that has not only met, but exceeded our hopes and expectations.

Great Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this dishwasher for about a month and so far I love it! I was a little hesitant to buy it after reading many of the reviews. I researched this one and the Kitchen Aid for months before finally deciding to go with the bosch. I couldn't be more pleased. It cleans great and I haven't had any problems with the dishes not drying properly. I do use the extra dry cycle though, as well as Jet Dry.

Best washer owned to date
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had constant issues with dishwashers. Hard water and detergent ate them up. We have had this washer for awhile now and the dishes are spotless. Zero hard water or detergent accumulation. The upper rack is great because you free up space in the bottom rack utensils typically take. Use the recommended pod detergent. We think that has been an issue with us in the past.
