This dishwasher is everything advertised and more. I am used to rinsing dishes before loading the dishwasher, so when I read the instructions that said not to rinse dishes, I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical. Well...my husband cooked a keto egg treat in a ceramic dish in the microwave and didn't rinse or scrape off the thick stuck-on egg residue, but Viola!!! The bowl came out spotless! I almost did cartwheels! If you can afford the price, you have to get this. Bosch is no joke and well worth the cost. Plus, it's really quiet.

Malfunctions with E24 error code - need a replacement.

Works great. Super quiet. Had issues with a cheaper dishwasher so ponied up and spent the money on the best one I could find. Enjoy having the third rack for cutlery.

This dishwasher is by far the best investment, that I have made this year. It is so quiet, that I have to put my ear to the door to see if it is on. It does a great job of cleaning anything we have put in it also.

Even though we've owned this dishwasher over a year now, I can't wait for it to die so I can buy another brand. The good points: 1. a nice red light to tell you that it's in use. 2. It is quiet. The bad issues: 1. A multi-use flat panel for the operating menu in which you must press the area 3 or 4 times to get any response. Sometimes you press lightly and other times you have to really press hard. 2. A confusing menu that IS NOT user friendly. If you press an "button" on the left to chose what was wash setting you want and then try to pick a different dry setting on the right, the machine doesn't change. 3. The menu selections are actually quite limited compared to my last dishwasher. 4. There is not that much room inside. Especially if you use the top sliding rack for knives. Forget putting in tall glasses or wine glasses. You will have to take that rack out for tall glasses. And this was the feature I was really looking forward to using! And...when you load items they seem like they are wedged in there, as if the rack doesn't have enough height to clear a normal knife. It's obviously been designed by an engineer who has never loaded after Thanksgiving dinner. It now takes 2.5 loads to get all the dishes done (my old one was 1 load). 6. The price is ridiculous for this machine. There are plastic pieces inside the wash area. Not even all metal. I'm pretty sure we could have spent $600 and gotten a more user friendly, bigger capacity dishwasher. 7. Doesn't clean all that well. Seriously...dried orange juice pulp will still be in your cup. A tea mug will still have the dark stain around the sides. Dried peanut butter will still show up on the knives. And I pre-rinse and use Cascade Advanced Power detergent. So after my year long use of this annoyance they call a dishwasher, I will just sum it up like this: I would gladly trade the pretty red light and quiet to have a more functional one that just does what any good quality, well designed dishwasher should do.

Very disappointed in this product. First and foremost this dishwasher does not do a very good job at cleaning the dishes. It doesn’t always clean the utensils, especially knives..loading the dishwasher is a chore and it takes forever to complete a cycle.. my 16 year old kenmore dishwasher did a better job than this one..the biggest difference between my kenmore dishwasher and this one is the noise level

Just a few months old. So far, so good. The installation went very well.

We purchased this dishwasher and have had it for 1 1/2 years. Ever since we've had it, the buttons that turn the washer on have been intermittently working. Had workmen come check it and it would always work when they were here. Then shortly after it would stop working again. They could never find the problem. Now that it is out of warranty, you have to hav a Bosch rep work on it and they want to charge a $159 trip charge, $200 an hour for however long they are at your house, plus parts! All Bosch said was "we don't have the extended warranty". My husband told them, we shouldn't need an extended warranty! So buying what I thought was the best brand and it was $1300, didn't do us any good. Not sure it's worth having them come out to see if they can find the problem since it intermittent and always worked when our usual appliance man came to check it out. SO I DO NOT recommend buying this dishwasher, even on sale UNLESS you purchase the extended warranty of which, in my opionion, should NOT be a necessity.

Read a lot of reviews about this dishwasher. All of them are accurate. You pay a little bit more but the quality is worth it.

Have had bosch dishwashers for 3 kitchens. If you go bosch, you will be a bosch customer forever.

This dishwasher is extremely... and I mean EXTREMELY sensitive to how you load it. If you so much as have an item that is a centimeter off (not visibly obstructing any of the sprays) the dishwasher will return a dreaded red blinking light. You'll be forced to reload the dishwasher again. And again. Of course the dishwasher returns no visible guidance about *how* it's misloaded. You can be the most attentive loader and still suffer the dreaded red light. Two or three nights a week we have a total exercise in frustration, as that's how often the dishwasher reports a misload. We've had misloads triggered when we've loaded the dishwasher with 6 items. I would never recommend this product.

I purchased a Bosch 800 series dishwasher (SHPM78Z55N/01) less than three years ago because I was excited about Bosch's new drying system. The dishwasher is as quiet as advertised - but the drying system is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. About 13 months after installation, the Zeolite nut and ring broke. $300 (with a certified technician) and over a month later because the parts were on backorder, we had a functioning dishwasher again. Now, just about 18 months later, we got an error code E07, and it turns out the Zeolite container and fan are broken. The estimated repair cost is $600, and the parts are on backorder AGAIN! I asked Bosch customer service for a credit for the repairs, which they denied. They said they could possibly consider a replacement unit but it would likely take 6-12 months and was not a guarantee that they would approve it. All of this despite the fact the our certified technician said they are dealing with repairs for this Zeolite system all the time. So in less than three years we will have spent enough money on repairs to buy an entirely new unit and will have spent likely several months without a functioning dishwasher. Definitely NOT worth it.

Ceramic & plastic wares come out clean & dry at end of cycle. However, not as quiet as my old Kenmore Elite. I had to put my ear on my old Kenmore Elite’s door to hear anything. I can hear this Bosh dishwasher ‘working’ while standing in my little galley kitchen. But, that’s not a deal breaker. Still satisfied for the price paid.

This is a replacement dishwasher. Normally we would never have purchased this brand, but after Comsumer Report research, I was convinced we needed to give this brand a try. So far we are very impressed with the cleanliness of our dishes and how quiet it operates. It gets a high five from us.

BEWARE THIS DISHWASHER IS THE WORST. I purchased this dishwasher and I had nothing but problems. A code kept coming up and the dishwasher wouldn’t work. All different codes and different times. This started after I month after being installed. I had to use utube to get instructions on how to fix and still a different code would again appear. Many people complaining online about this dishwasher. COMPLETE JUNK. When I purchased a different dishwasher a week ago the woman at Lowe’s stated that I was the fifth person today to complain about Bosch. Do not buy because it will be on the curb within a year. Very sad and very expensive lesson.

Has leaked on us a few times and have had technicians out multiple times. 4.5 years old and already replacing it

Worst rack layout ever. Good luck loading any casserole dishes or anything larger than a flat dinner plate. This dishwasher is a joke! Also does not generate sufficient heat to completely dry the dishes. But the good news is, it’s quiet. I miss my builder grade GE, it had great load flexibility, dried the dishes and didn’t stink like our Bosh if the door is was closed for more than a day.
