I want to be clear, this is an amazing dishwasher. I love everything about it. The silverware rack up at the very top is very clever. I can fit a million things in it. Cleans everything excellently. Insanely quiet. I only ever hear it if water is spraying against something like a large metal bowl, but what can you expect? I give it two stars because I've now owned it since late December 2020 and starting 4 months ago it began tripping the GFCI outlet it was plugged into. This was rare. Maybe once every few weeks. Now it's daily. I've had the outlet replaced. Still trips. Replaced the GFCI outlet with a standard receptacle and moved the whole circuit to a GFCI breaker and it still trips. At least now I don't have to get on my knees to reset the thing and can just walk to the panel. This is all new wiring that was installed in late 2020 for this specific purpose. Other appliances on this circuit do not trip the breaker. This is 100% an issue with the dishwasher itself. When you spend as much as I did on this dishwasher you expect it to last longer than this. I'm just now starting to submit a request for support from Bosch, but I fear I'll end up having to pay out of hand for this as I'm just a bit past the 1 year warranty. :(

I love this dishwasher. It clean the dishes (no need to rinse at all) and it's super quiet. It's really smart they have the light shine on the floor so you know it's on, otherwise you really don't know that it's running. The crystal dry feature works amazingly well. EVERYTHING gets dry (unless the dish or glass has a place where water can pool). We just make sure to tilt those glasses or bowls that have a dip in the top so the water doesn't pool on the top...then everything is dry. We have two of them and love them both.

This is by far the best dishwasher we have ever owned. It is super quiet. It holds a lot of dishes and I live the third rack where I put all lids and spatulas. My glasses come out SPOTLESS. Also appreciate it dries very well. Love it! Was definitely worth the money.

I’ve been using this dishwasher for about a week now and I am so happy with it. The only way you can tell it’s running is the light on the floor and the sound of water draining in my sink. It’s incredibly quiet! It gets everything very clean and the Crystal Dry has worked well. I also love the flexibility of the shelves to accommodate different sized items. It’s so easy to raise the shelf up and down. Worth every penny!

Actually cleans my dishes and is as quiet as advertised. The crystal dry option is great. So glad we went with this Bosch dishwasher. The black stainless finish looks great!

Bosch - 800 Series 24" Top Control Built-In Dishwasher During our kitchen remodel our old Bosch was badly damaged - so we decided to get the new version. Boy are we pleased! It's the same size, but it holds more dishes and it seems to get them cleaner than the last unit. Very impressed! And the Bosch folks even sent someone out to look at our dishwasher when it was originally damaged - it was 8 years old and they didn't hesitate. There's no other dishwasher in my books!

Had to get a new dishwasher pronto after my last one died suddenly on us. Had to get this model because of the third tier rack, which holds a surprising amount of items, low decibel sound (only reason I knew it was on was because of the cool red light that shows up on the floor when the dishwasher is running), and how well thought out the other two tiers are. Someone spent some time planning this dishwasher and it shows! I still need to go through the manual real quick one day to get to know the ins and outs of all the different settings etc but so far I’m super pleased with my selection! The crystal dry setting has worked very well so far so I’m one satisfied customer

This dishwasher is so much better in every respect to the Jenn Air it replaced. It's whisper quiet, you can hardly hear it running and doe's an excellent job of cleaning. The top pull out shelf works great for silverware.

This is a great upgrade over the 500 series I had. I wanted the quietest around so I got this. Then I saw they had a 38 dB like a week afterwards!!!! Ah well. This one is pretty quiet, I have to say. I am sure I am not missing the extra couple of hundred for those extra 2 Db. It was more than the 42 dB, but it was the sweet spot for me. It cleans pretty well and the crystal dry usually does a decent job as long as water doesn't get a chance to collect (like bottoms of bowls for example. I am getting used the 3rd rack, but it does seem to have less headroom on the second rack. I'd buy it again if I had too.

This dishwasher is so quiet, if the light was not on we wouldn't know it was running. The third rack works great for the cereal bowls our grandkids us in the morning. So far, the dishes have been excellently cleaned.

Looked at numerous options for dishwashers and settled on this one. Honestly, after using this one, I’m not sure my last dishwasher was cleaning anything. Dishes now come out pristine, even when heavily soiled. Honestly, was shocked at the difference. For the first few washes there was a “plastic/chemical smell,” but this eventually went away. Super quiet- honestly, you don’t need to purchase a dishwasher with a dB rating lower than this, in my opinion. I think you’d be wasting your money. Had best buy install it as well, which was convenient and went well. Bosch dishwashers now plug in to outlets, so before delivery, you will need to ensure there’s a plug behind the old dishwasher or be prepared to pay extra for one to be installed- we knew we would have to pay extra for outlet installation.

Works like a dream! It runs very quiet and cleans/drys very well. It has more room than the average dishwasher.

The machine is good. does the job neatly. It is super quiet as promised. looks great in the kitchen! But I feel it is a bit overrated! It does not remove stuck-on dried food as efficiently. I have to scrub off and load if the bowl or plate is dried with food. The controls are ultra-sensitive to the touch. a couple of times, after setting, I have accidentally paused it. watch out for the stable (not genius) red light on the floor. if it's blinking... it's not running. I also had a few hiccups with Bestbuy, which finally was resolved. First of all, I waited months to get this. When the dishwasher arrived finally, it came with a deep scratch on the panel and a broken third rack :( when I called BestBuy, my only option was to return, since no replacement was available! :( By then my old dishwasher was gone and I could not have possibly stayed with no dishwasher option, so I have to live with it now. But after 3 days of haggling with BestBuy, we were able to get the replacement for the broken rack and minimal cashback. I am very disappointed with the Bestbuy customer service, in spite of having geek squad protection, there were like 100 people they transfer the calls to (a bit exaggerated.. it was on average at least 9 transfers, but took us seriously 100 calls) and the calls keep dropping. I and my husband both had to constantly be on both phones and on chat for 3 long days doing nothing else to get this resolved. they don't cover your wasted time btw! Now what can I say, I ate a big chill pill and enjoying the beautiful, highly-priced possession of a Bosch dishwasher with a beauty spot...just like the moon!

Roomy; holds more plates tableware, etc. Very quiet; hardly hear it’s on and running Top 3rd rack’s a great addition; for knives & other flatware Racks’ design make for easy arrangement of plates, glasses, etc.

Great dishwasher so far. Much quieter than our previous dishwasher. Crystal technology seems to be working for drying plastics, but need to adjust to the different smell of the dishwasher - not bad, but different. Takes getting used to loading a different layout, however I like that we can put silverware on top so more space at bottom for larger dishes when take out silverware tray. Definitely on the expensive side of dishwashers, but glad to have all the features and quietness etc.

This is our second bosch dishwasher we have owned. I gave our old one to my parents since theirs went out. They love it and said it cleans better than any dishwasher they have had and they have had a bunch. The only complaint I have is if you open door to put something in it during wash you have to hit start button where the old one once you close door it started back up on its own. This is also the quietest dishwasher I have ever heard. You can not hear it running.

We have been using the machine for about 2 months. It’s very quiet. I like that there is a light that shines on the floor that alerts you that it’s in a cleaning cycle. The 3rd rack is great- we use it for all our silverware and odd small utensils. This allow more useable space to wash large bowels and pots. I also like that I don’t have to worry about washing items labeled- « top rack only »- not the case anymore. The plastic is dry too! Very happy with purchase. Cycles take a bit long, but the dishes come out clean AND dry! It's so quiet, I had to open it after starting it the first time used, just to make sure it was working.

Washes dishes better than any machine, or human for that matter, has a right to. When the manual says, 'don't bother rinsing' it is not lying. The auto-sense function works flawlessly. And while it is at it, you will not hear it. How does it do it? I have no idea but I suspect it has something to do with the weight of the machine. This thing is, ahem, substantial. (It weighs over a 100 pounds.) The "But" in all of this has to do with the controls. They are EXTREMELY sensitive and take a while to get used to. Also, the operating manual provides no summary or 'quick start' so be prepared to carve out an hour or two before you figure out how to use it. Hint: start on page 38 if you want to actually clean the dishes without learning all the background issues.

Previously owned a kitchenAid Dishwasher. There is no comparison, this one cleans better than any dishwasher I’ve ever had. The third row is pretty handy with utensils, and the 800 series is whisper quiet.
