I had a great experience with the Best Buy installers. They treated my house with respect and did a great job installing the dishwasher. It is not very sturdy. For instance, if you open the door by pulling on the handle near one side or the other, there is a lot of flex in the door and I bet the door will get worn out fast. I have told my family to grasp the handle and open it from the middle. It just isn't built as well as our old one. At first I was blown away by with how good it cleaned and how quiet it was. I love how quiet it is. Then, it started smelling. There was always nasty water sitting in the filter area. I called for service. The guy who came by told me that the pump was not pumping all the dirty water out. He said he had several of these calls and the new pump he put in should take care of it. It seemed a little better but it did not totally take care of the problem. There is still water at the bottom of the filter although not as much as before. It still smells if I don't run it at least every other day. Sometimes we just don't fill it up that fast. I started running rinse cycles after a clean cycle and emptying it to at least have clean water sitting there. It has helped a little but still does not solve the problem. Overall this has been a very disappointing purchase. I bought this because of the Bosch name and reputation but the build quality is mediocre and the smell can be really bad.

We purchased this dishwasher after our 3-year-old Samsung dishwasher broke and no repairmen would work on it because they are so problematic. Bosch was a jump up in cost but worth it to be able to wash so many dishes and not have to worry about repairs or issues.

We are disappointed with our Bosch top of the line dishwasher. First of all, it seems cramped and does not have the capacity of our old cheaper model. Because it has the top shelf for flatter items, it then does not allow enough space for tall glasses and stemware on the next shelf. Even adjusting the shelf down to allow for this, causes the next shelf for dinner plates, etc., to then not have enough height. Also, the crystal dry feature does not work as promised. There is still a good deal of water on the dishes. I expected more from this dishwasher and it does not deliver.

I would highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone. I can see a significant difference in how clean my dishes get. And the best difference is that everything comes out dry and feels very clean. My old dishwasher always left water, or water spots on everything.

bosch 800 dishwasher is worth the money. It’s very quiet, cleans well without rinsing dishes before. We had ordered a top of the line kitchen aid but it turned out to be a lemon because it did not clean well or dry the dishes. We tried to order a new one and it was back ordered for over a month and then found out it was discontinued. Best Buy recommended that we pick out a different model or brand which we did and Best Buy even sold us the Bosch at the same price as the kitchen aid. Customer service and installation are excellent which is why we keep purchasing our appliances at Best Buy.

Amazing dishwasher. Best one we’ve ever had. We bought it to replace a Viking dishwasher the broke down and we couldn’t be happier.

This dishwasher works great! It has a lot of room and the 3rd rack comes in handy. It dries dishes completely and there is no need for pre-rinsing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

Was uncertain about splurging on a dishwasher because of a lack of performance in our prior model that was not much less. However, paying the premium for this unit has been a pleasing experience as it has met all performance expectations.

Great little dishwasher. I was skeptical at first to buy an expensive dishwasher as this one. But the machine washes the dishes amazingly clean and dries it perfectly. The amount of heat this puts out is a little on the higher end since I can feel the warmth on the counter on top of the dishwasher, but I am not complaining since the dishes come out fully dry. The third rack and the other little features such as the 'red' floor light while it's running, smaller load, etc. are amazing as well!

Great dishwasher, very quiet. Still learning all the features but so far it has been excellent.

Quiet running. Gets dishes extremely clean! The controls took a bit of getting used to, but have been easily mastered.

A quiet dishwasher is a must in an open area home. Our old one was loud and interrupted everything when it was running. The Bosch 800 is almost silent. It is roomy, well designed, and attractive. I am very happy with our purchase.

Replaced 20 yr old dishwasher. Love that I can put plastics on any shelf, and the third rack. Highly recommended brand and I see why.

Cleans well, dishes come out dry. Does decent with drying plastics.
