Excellent dishwasher. Performs as good as it looks. Completely as advertised. Best Buy installation and installer was superb.

this unit is so quiet the only way you know its working is there is a light that shines on the floor, red if working, green if finished. the dishes are sparkling clean, and the design of the third rack is brilliant. Beware! this 800 series can only be plugged in, no hard wired install. bosch never goes on sale, but installs for this brand are free, but not the electrical if other than ordinary need to be put into place

To start, I cannot stand the sound of dishwashers. We had a baby and started running the dishwasher while home and soon after looked for a new quiet dishwasher. I was hoping it would be totally silent, it isn't, but it is really not objectionable at all. Also, it cleans things better! White coffee mugs that had stains on the inside are no longer stained. The drying works as well as you can expect a dishwasher to dry. Overall - very happy.

Great and works as advertised. Was recommended by family and friends. Very happy with purchase so far.

After extensive research, we ordered this dishwasher based on the positive reviews, brand reputation for dishwashers and experience from a friend who loves this dishwasher which she purchased a couple years ago. Unfortunately, we could not get the dishwasher to work properly. We turned the dishwasher on, selected the cycle and pressed start. Nothing happened. We repeated trying different cycles with the same results. We reset and repeated. Same results. I Googled and found other owners who had the same issue and most had failed door latches; however, their dishwashers were a couple years old. I found one owner who posted about ensuring the middle rack aligned with the "stop light" shaped connectors on the back wall of the dishwasher and was able to get her dishwasher to work after that. I followed her instructions but did not get any change. Once, the dishwasher did start and run for twelve minutes and stopped. I was unable to get the dishwasher to restart. A second time, I was able to get the dishwasher to run for nine minutes and it stopped again. I called Bosch customer support who also walked me through the "reset" process again and was still unable to get the dishwasher to work. She stated a Bosch technician would need to look at; however, the earliest technician appointment was November 2, and it was October 24th. My return / exchange window expired before November. After two days of trouble shooting, I was finally able to get a complete cycle but over four different increments. The first ran for nine minutes before it stopped. Then after numerous attempts, the dishwasher started and continued to run for 28 minutes before stopping, then I 19 minutes and finally it completed the cycle. However, I was not replicate what I did again, and by then, I had lost complete faith in the dishwasher. It appears there may be an issue with the control panel since power and water both worked fine. There was also a film on the dishes after even though we had used Finish Rinse Aid as instructed. With great disappointment, I called Best Buy to process the return this morning. My husband noticed there was a little moisture inside the dishwasher when it was delivered but did not think anything of it at the time. Perhaps the moisture was condensation, and we just had bad luck with a faulty control panel. However, we also wondered if this was not the first time the unit had an issue. Unfortunately, we do not want to risk waiting for a technician and lose our ability to return the unit so we will never know. I really wanted this dishwasher to be the one but now have to search for another manufacturer.

Purchased during a rough time in our economy. With the current dishwasher I had it does not compare to what my new one does now that my kids are home and not at school using all of my dishes. This was not a disappointment and even though it was not able to be installed for safety reasons, was very easy for my husband to set up. Definately read the directions before using! It can be too smart for your own good. I also watched a Bosch video online that was helpful.

This thing cleans everything. Gone are the days of prewashing things in the sink. It cleans cooked on, dried on, you name it. I am still trying to find something it won't clean.

Overall good dishwasher. Very quiet. But still can’t get over my previous GE profile dishwasher on the cleaning aspect.

Cleans everything well But Wish they had a short cycle. Don’t need everything to run 60 minutes plus.

Best dishwasher I have ever used. I have had GE, Whirlpool and Amana prior to this one. There is no comparison. This unit cleans perfect every time. I love the top rack for silverware. Nothing is cheesy about this machine, solid, beautiful and well made. It's so quiet, I cannot tell it's on. I installed it myself - it was super easy. You can spend more but I cannot see why.

Didn't plan on purchasing dish washer that cost over a 1g but I keep getting my best buy certificate stolen so my wife and I decided to get this. Its quiet and washing pretty well so far.

Dishwasher works great, while expensive seems worth the extra cost.

Love the dishwasher. Cleans well and quiet. I would have gave it 5 stars bout didn’t bc the touchpad start button is difficult to engage.

If I needed to purchase a dishwasher again, I would buy this one. It is very quiet. It cleans and dries very well... even plastic! However, it is very frustrating and difficult to load, especially larger items.

Thought it wasn't working because we couldn't hear it. Absolutely no complaints. Perfect

Wow...you won't be disappointed with this top of the line quality dishwasher....you have to put your ear next to machine to hear if it's really on! Great choice....Love it!!!!

I replaced my 7 years old thermador high end dishwasher that would have cost $2300 plus tax and installation. This Bosch is just as good if not better than my old unit.
