Some short time after purchasing my Bosch dishwasher I realized that it was a truly awful machine. My dishes came out dirty, cold, and wet!!! I tried to return the machine but the manager informed me that I was several days passed the date to return. My luck! Since then things have only gotten worse. The interior collects a black, greasy scum and requires me to periodically scrub out the tub. The wheels also periodically fall off the racks. Sometimes they are lost and I have been supplied with several replacements. Also if one is not very careful in pulling out the tray it falls off the tracks completely. I have had several visits from Bosch repair men and each one assures me that all is now well…..but it isn’t!!! The major problem seems to be that the water is not hot enough. I do not think that the heating element is working at all! My daughter has held endless conversations with the Bosch office and it all goes round in circles. I would not recommend this dishwasher to my worst enemy!

Great little dishwasher, that is very QUIET. All you hear is the water splashing in the tub. It is a HUGE improvement from our old GE washer. We can actually talk at a normal tone in the kitchen while it is cleaning. The load capacity is a little smaller but works well for our family of three, so we need to run it about every day. This is fine because that is a full day’s dishes from breakfast to dinner. I’m sure as we figure out the load plan we could fit more into it, but it is a dishwasher not a clown car. The only knock I would have against it is the price, for a washer in the $500 price range you figure you would get the whole stainless steel tub but we are very happy since we bought on sale. For people who complain it doesn't dry well, my suggestion buy a towel and get over it, a little dampness on the dishes after a load isn't going to hurt you.

This is by far, the best appliance I have ever purchased. It is so quiet, you have to check to see if its running!! Dishes are clean, drying could be a little hotter, water drops on door. Seems smaller than my old one, could just be different load patterns. LOVE it!! Great buy at Best Buy!!

We purchased this to replace our old dishwasher of 10 years. It is MUCH more quiet than our old model. It took some adjustments to how to stack this washer. CONS: I am not a fan of the top rack. Many angles and odd spacing makes it challenging to get our glasses loaded efficiently. It does not hold baking dishes easily, but it can be done. PROS: The wash cycle is very quiet, dishes are done pretty quickly and they are always clean. Having no heating element, means that we can put plastics on the bottom rack without melting them...wonderful with 3 small boys. Delay start and sanitize are great features. It is a sleek design, and fits very well within the standard space.

I was disappointed when I realized it does not have a heated drying cycle or a hard food disposal. But it does a great job and is very quiet.

This model is in the lower tier for bells and whistles, but does the job. It seems a little smaller than the old one we replaced, and doesn't seem to be able to be loaded up as much. There will be dishes that do not dry thoroughly, but we do not use the sanitize as a dryer option. Overall we are happy with the way it cleans the dishes.

Very disappointed with this dishwasher. It has a horrible smell from the first time we used it until now nearly 5 months later. We have tried making sure our dishes are rinsed well first, but it doesn't make a difference, it has a foul odor all the time and gets worse the longer the time frame between washes. I have found myself running it more often to try and lessen the smell when I don't even have a full load. Also, the inside seems much smaller due to how the racks are designed. It does get the dishes clean and is quiet but the foul smell greatly outweighs those benefits.

We got this dishwasher for an outstanding price because it was an open item. My husband thought he could install it which was a nightmmare but that has nothing to do with the dishwasher itself. It is so quiet when it runs I forget it is even on. The top shelf is amazing and I love that when can adjust it. I am still working on the setup for the bottom shelf because it is a little tight but we have made it work. Bottom line is this dishwasher rocks!

This machine is easy to operate. It looks more complicated than it is. It's also quiet.

This washer has wonderful cleaning power. Engineers should be given raises. The trays are weak and break,come apart very easy. They don't slide well and just are junk. Engineers should be fired.

I love this dishwasher! I am very happy with this purchase. Everything comes out clean and shiny. The food processor at the bottom works very well. There are never any leftover food pieces in the bottom of the dishwasher. There is plenty of room to fit all of our dishes (and we wash everything - pots, pans, casserole dishes, glasses, plastic...). I would highly recommend this dishwasher. Love it! One tip - you must use a rinse agent (we use Jet Dry) to get your dishes dry. That was something new for us but once we refilled that - even better!

This was a great purchase. The Bosch is very quiet. The cycle takes a while but the dishes are very clean as well as pots and pans and crock pot basins. Jet Dry is recommended. Love the space and design for the wine glasses. Very happy

It runs so quiet that you really have to listen closely to be sure it is running. It is a bit difficult to learn how to use it, but once mastered, no problem. The inside is stainless steel but that type is magnetic and some installers question if it is stainless. However, some types, including this one, are magnetic. Bottom line, it does the job well.

It is SOOOO quiet! I love it. Washes great. The only thing I noticed is that it doesnt seem to dry the dishes totally, so if you don't empty out the clean dishes right away there seems to be a musty smell after a couple days. (Like when you leave a load of wet laundry in the washer too long.) The unit closes air tight when you shut it, but I am not sure that is such a 'great' thing now because it doesn't allow any air in there to circulate and help finish the drying process. Unless I don't have something set right??

We bought this dishwasher because it claimed to to be real quiet and it was the lowest price at around 50 dBA...since our kitchen opens up into our family room we were looking for a quiet machine. It totally lives up to our expectations and does a great job cleaning the dishes too. Only complaint was that I needed to purchase a $15.00 kit (hoses/connnects/electical wire) to install it from the hardware store.

This was our first time purchasing a Bosch product. We are very pleased with this purchase. Installation went very well. The dishwasher is very quiet; you hardly know it is on. Dishes and silverware come out clean. While we have only had it for a little over a month,we would not hesitate on purchasing another Bosch product based on its performance.

This dishwasher is from Germany - who must use much smaller dishes than we do. The bowls have to be stacked every other slot - so you can't fit as many in there. Then they touch the salad plates in the next row. It's also hard to fit pans in, with the slots so close together. Even the top rack for glasses had oddly sized rows. We were told we could get a different bottom basket for $150, but for that price we could have bought a nicer model dishwasher. Yes, it's quiet, yes it cleans, but the top and bottom racks are so challenging to load, it's very irritating.
