Bought this product to replace an old dishwasher and new the name brand was one of the top in this category. I did a little reseach and found that it is very highly rated and Bosch is very high on the list of dependable products. The dishwasher works great and has all the features that we needed / wanted: stainless steel interior, sanitize feature, large capacity, etc.

This is the worst dishwasher we have ever owned. It has a terrible odor even overnight after emptying it. I had a friend who said her dishes came out of her dishwasher the way they went in. Mine come out worse. It seems to mash up the bits and redistribute them everywhere. I clean the arms and filter constantly. I never expected to have to pre-rinse dishes and then still have them come out gritty. I hate this dishwasher.

Replaced my 25 yr. old GE dishwasher with this Bosch. Not the most expensive, but works GREAT. Gets glasses absolutely crystal clear. No need to pre-wash plates anymore.

So far I am very happy with this dishwasher. Very quiet with no problems.

I wish I hadn't been in such a hurry to buy a dishwasher after my old on quit!! This new Bosch is nice looking and that is where my saying anything nice ends! The inside is dark grey so it is hard to see inside. The racks are smaller than my old dishwasher and they are very difficult to load. Glasses don't stand up properly at all and tip over during washing. The silverware holders are not deep enough. The bottom rack will not hold anything correctly except plates. The dishwasher does not dry my dishes...they come out half wet even with the sanitize on. It may save energy but who wants to hand dry dishes after unloading?? I would NEVER recommend this dishwasher to anyone!!

If you have a family this is NOT the dishwasher for you. If you cook a lot and have lots of dishes to wash, this is not the dishwasher for you. If you want to put your pots and pans in your dishwasher, this is not the dishwasher for you. Don't get me wrong, this is a very quiet machine, it cleaned the ten or so various dishes and pots and pans that I could jam in there. It didn't dry them so well though. This dishwasher would be better suited for a man living by himself who cooks microwave meals and only uses the dishwasher once a week.

We bought this dishwasher hoping it would be top of the line. Its a Bosch and has a good rep. However, once trying to load the dishes I noticed there is not enough room for the dishes to fit. The racks are laid out in a strange way to where the space is not usable. Further, not even my standard tall glasses fit in the top rack. To make things worse, the dishes don't stay dry because condensation builds within a few hours. Would not recommend.

Everything we expected and more. Very quiet and love the sanitizer for the dishes.

Havent had this dishwasher a month yet and it's already broken! The door latching mechanism is complete garbage. The door barely latches when closed. If you do get it to work, the water pressure forces the door just enough off the latch to cause the dishwasher to stop (Active light will flash). I have been trying to wash the same set of dishes for hours now. I even checked to make sure the top rack was pushed completely back. Dont buy this dishwasher!

It was a bit expensive, but it was certainly worthwhile. Quiet and great performance

THIS BOSCH DISHWASHER IS THE BEST ONE WE'VE EVER OWNED!! IT"S REALLY QUIET and EASY TO OPERATE. No more stains or streaking and when done the dishes are dry. We highly recommend having a BOSCH dishwasher.

Purchased this dishwasher with the expectation that I was getting a quality product. Boy was I wrong! The dishwasher was purchased on 4/21/13, installed on 4/25/13, and quit running on 5/5/13. When we went to the store to discuss the problem, all they cared about was if we purchased their protection plan. I had to remind them that I had an expectation of the dishwasher functioning longer than 10 days and didn't think the protection plan should be an issue. They sent someone out to look at it and the main control panel malfunctioned. I tried to select several other dishwashers but they had none of them in stock (even in the distribution warehouse) and said they probably couldn't get them. Why are they shown as something Best Buy carries if they can't be purchased now or in the future? I'm stuck with getting a replacement of the same dishwasher that I truly hate.

it's a horrible appliance. I've had to run it two or three times to get the results of what my old dishwasher did the first time around; not very economical. The dishes are hardly dry when I unload. The buttons are flimsy, and feel like they could fault at any time. I would NOT recommend this product to a friend.

I am very disappointed in this dishwasher. I am a single person and do not cook very much so my dishes are never very dirty going into the dishwasher. No oils, no baked on food etc. just dishes, glasses, cups. The book says to use powdered dishwasher soap, which is what I've been using. I have tried different settings as well as auto and still, there are always lots of dishes that do not look clean and shiny. The silverware is another story. Nine out of 10 pieces do not come clean and I end up washing everything by hand. When I finish this box of soap I will try the tabs and see if that helps. I'm really at a loss and very disappointed as I thought I bought a nice dishwasher. I even followed the books suggestions on how to load the dishwasher. I use glass pans only and if I make a vegetable soup, again, no oils, no meats, the pans never look clean.

The Best Buy sales guy raved over this unit - boasting of it's reliability and quality. In retrospect, I wonder if he was just trying to fill quotas. Needless to say, we are very very disappointed we bought this unit. Often it fails to release the soap; occasionally it will run and never stop unless we force it to (at least it is persistent); generally the dishes are slimy; sometimes the timer forgets to wake up and turn itself on; takes a long long time to dry the dishes; repair men apparently have a hard time making this thing work. Some takeaways: Don't buy this model. Take Best Buy salesperson's suggestions with a grain of salt. Don't buy into any stereotypes about where a product was designed or made. Get a refund quickly even if you have minor issues (don't assume your product will get better).

I bought the Bosch Evolution Ascenta dishwasher, delivery and installation service at the BestBuy store at Norwalk, CT. BestBuy uses a 3rd party installer called Optimal Service. It was a nightmare to get it installed which is another story. I was sold for its claimed "silence plus" with a sound rating of 50db. After it was installed, it was a lot louder than I'd expect for 50db. When I exam the dishwasher closely. There are some "cracks" (unsealed areas) around the dishwasher. So the loudness could be partially due to the low quality of installation. It also takes a long time to wash dishes. I did the 1st test run with "auto wash" cycle for a few dishes (half full). It took two hours to finish. Then, I tried "half load". It still took more than one hour. In both cases, dishes came out very clean.

This dishwasher requires full pre-washing of all dishes before putting them in, else particles will be scattered over every dish requiring yet another wash. God help you if you ever eat spinach or rice as those never come off. Just getting my husband and kids to put their own dishes in was challenge enough, telling them to wash them first is impossible. My husband uses single use plasticware mostly now because he feels none of our dishes are actually "clean" after going through. I clean out the drain at least every other day, it gets descaled monthly, all the spray holes get cleaned out almost weekly, and we run the hottest water to the sink prior to turning it on, tried every combination of detergent and rinse aid. None have been effective in getting cleaner dishes. We cannot fill more than halfway with no dishes touching to get a semi-clean load. Though it is especially quiet which is nice, I regret buying and wish we would have kept the 20 year old dishwasher that actually worked well. Cannot wait to move in a few months to leave this piece behind.
