This is a great dishwasherl.. Looks nice. cleans well. and quiet and less than $600.00 installed with parts...

Love this dishwasher, looks great in my new kitchen, high quality and durability. Only problem is, I didnt realize lights have to be manually shut off on panel board when cycle is done.

Just ran my first load of dishes through this dishwasher, and every spot where my dishes touched the rack, a black mark was left that doesn't come off. Called Bosch, and they won't do anything about it. All of my dishes (dishwasher safe, normal, never had a problem with my old dishwasher) are ruined. To top it off, my old, 11 year old dishwasher dried my dishes tons better than this thing. The only good thing about this dishwasher is that it is quiet.

The salesman in the Eden Prairie MN store said this model was better than the one I was originally going to purchase and it was on sale. I took his advice and wish I would have paid the higher price for the other dishwasher. This model does not dry the dishes all that well and there is no digital readout like the other model I wanted that will tell you which cycle it is on. This model also ran for over an hour and I had to manually stop it . Not as pleased as I thought I would be. Listen to your first mind when purchasing any large item from Best Buy...they seem to be all about the money and the how many warrentee's they can sell instead of what is best for the customer's needs.

We have been using it for a month now and it is working great.

Runs for about 2 minutes, then declares dishes "clean", when the dishes are far from "clean".

My entire experience with the purchase of this product was horrible. My first clue to cancel the order was when on the day of delivery and installation the plumber quit. From that point it took 2 weeks, with me harassing the store employees, for them to obtain an installer who turned out to be a resident of another state (traveling plumber, maybe). My first choice was a Whirlpool but I changed my mind in the store because of the reviews on the Bosch dishwasher. Big mistake! The Bosch does not clean well nor does it have a "air dry or heated drying""feature. The silverware, plastic bowls, pots and pans must be hand dried. I have had the dishwasher approximately 2 weeks and I have experienced a sour smell from the open hole in the bottom unit. What a huge let down!

DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!! The Service Reps at Best Buy were great and very helpful, but none of them had any personal experience with this washer. It is a quiet dishwasher over all. At first it worked great, but I would never buy it again! I have had it for over a year and now after every load I am rewashing more than half of it by hand. I have to be very careful about looking in the coffee mugs and water glasses before I put them away as there is always grit and dirt up inside them! Unfortunately, now even the plates are coming out gritty! Of course all this starts happening AFTER the warrantee is up. Given how long the wash cycle is on the dishwasher I could easily hand wash, dry and put away the whole load in less time. The other frustrating point is that you always have to use the child lock for the buttons because as we are constantly setting it off (or turning it off) as we work on the counter above it. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!!! I did not even want to give it one star, but it won't let me post without one.

I am happy to have it. though a little expensive compared to products sold at home depot

We had this dishwasher since 02/12 and 2 weeks shy of the warranty running out, it has started to make a high pitched whining noise. This noise is so terrible, it sounds like the whole dishwasher is going to take flight. We can't run it like that, we are worried the motor will malfunction, something will short circuit and start a fire, or who knows what else. Closest Authorized Bosch Servicer to us is over an hour away. Who knows when we will have our dishwasher back. I would hate to think of how annoyed we would be if it had done this 2 weeks AFTER the warranty was up. We were lucky this time. Next time, I will be buying something other than a Bosch.

Very quite compared to old dishwasher you barely know it is running

great price,free delivery,free install,super quiet.the problem i had was the dishes came out wet.we did everything by the book,called bosch 2 times.bosch finally gave us a number for service,they came out and said it needed a control board and a new jet dry dispenser.best buy was great they took it back and i went back to a maytag.

I purchased my Bosch Ascenta dishwasher on June 21, 2013. Best Buy delivered it a week later and I installed it only to find that it would start, run for about 10 seconds and then show the dishes were clean and the cycle was finished. Their service techs told me it was a bad circuit board and scheduled a replacement. Bosch Ascenta #2 arrived today, July 5th, 2013, and after installing it we ran a cycle without any dishes or soap to test it. Everything seemed to be fine until we reached the drain cycle and had water flowing out the center of the bottom onto our floor instead of through its drain tube. Best Buy said they would come look at it for a $120 service call (since I installed both of them myself). Instead they are now coming to pick it up as a return. I don't know what the odds are that I could get 2 faulty Bosch dishwashers in a row but I'm done with Bosch...and with Best Buy. :-(

Totally unacceptable, returning to Best Buy 4 full credit. Even with a full application of Finish Drying Solution as recommended, a very large amount of water remains in the area below the stainless mesh and stinks. There is no heating element nor fan to assist drying. The vent is on the left side next to the cabinets. Excess water can be absorbed in a large quanity after the dishes are removed. The dishwasher needs to remain open to completely dry or a terrible odor from stale water is present.

In addition to being TOO small, there is NO "turn off" feature.. Plus, the only dishes you can really load there safely and properly are SMALL BOWLS or just small dishes in general.. Everything else falls over or touches other dishes during the wash so they can break of chip off easily. Plus, there are all these features explained in the manual that are exactly easy to implement. IT IS NOT USER-FRIENDLY at ALL. Also, if you want to open it during the wash, just to add another item. the water splashes you right in a face -- I guess maybe b/c the motor is locate at the top and not a the bottom of the washer. The positioning of the silverware container is SUPER-INCONVENIENTLY LOCATED. Plus, the dishes do not fully dry at the end of the wash. The manual said do this and that to make sure the dishes are dry, well IT DOES NOT WORK. THE WORST DISHWASHER I'VE EVER HAD.

I have had this unit for 5 months or so and it simply is not capable of drying the dishes. We are following the directions and are using the prescribed Jet Dry in the instructions. EVERY time we wash dishes, there is a lot of water still on the dishes. I called Bosch to let them know about this and their solution was for me to call Best Buy. Bosch could not care less. Bosch seems to make everything, but makes nothing well. Do not be fooled by the Bosch name, this is simply NOT a good dishwasher.

The first one delivered to us had a huge dent and scratch on it. We refused the delivery. The second one came a week later and was installed. The next day it stopped working. We were told it had a bad circuit board and we told Best Buy to come and get it and refund our money. Which they did.

This is not a quality product. The Bosch dishwasher is hard to load, seems cheap, does not have as large a capacity as other like dishwashers and certainly does not clean the dishes as it should. Most disappointing appliance purchase we have had.

Worked fine until it died after 2 1/2 years of use! Just out of warranty! Will never by Bosch again.
