Way too bulky, can't slide dishwasher in

If your cabinet cavity meets the minimum requirements (with only a fraction of an inch to spare) and your romex wire comes into the cavity, it's impossible to place this box behind the dishwasher. It's too bulky any you can't push the dishwasher in all the way. I can't mount it on the back either because it's barely deep enough as it is. I ended up having to drill a big hole to pull the romex wire down to below the kitchen sink, remove the cord from the box and pull it through that hole, then wire the box up there and then attach it to the dishwasher, which was tricky because it was barely long enough to be able to reach the connector. This box could have been less than half the size and then it would just slide back on the floor and fit underneath the back of the dishwasher. Absolutely terrible design.

But if you are working with an existing junction box, you just end up with two boxes. Your only other option is to remove the wiring from this box and try to adapt it to the existing box - too much work. I now have two boxes under my sink. You absolutely need this specific cord to provide electricity to the dishwasher, so your options are extremely limited. I only said yes to recommend it because you have no choice.
