Junction Box Shorted Out

Inside is completely black and smells of burnt electric cords. It never tripped the fuse box. Changing back out to the plug type of cord and abandoning the hard wire option. Bosch was a joke and no help when i tried to contact them. No service reps in my area, but said they would email list of repairers near me. Never got the list. Highly disappointed and very fortunate we didn't have an electrical fire. Dishwasher itself is great though.
