It really amplifies the bass when listening to music. I can not only hear the bass better with this item but I can almost feel the bass as well, even when I have it set on a very low level. It was VERY easy to set up, which is very important to me. This item is great when listening to hard rock. However, I rated it as a 4 instead of a 5 because I do not find it a necessity. It is a good item but I wouldn't call it absolutely necessary. Additionally, when watching television and using this item there isn't much of a change from watching television without it. The major difference is that at low levels of volume the sound is still quite loud. If you plan to use it for music, then you will probably be very happy with it. If you have no plan to use it for music ever then you probably will not be as happy with the item. So when deciding whether to buy it or not I would say to determine what you plan to use it for and then determine if it is worth it for you.

Did not expect to have issues like this with a premium brand. Other than that, the sound and power are well balanced with the sound bar.

Great Surround system without all the cables
