We certainly understand how a frustrating setup process can affect your experience with the system, and we'd like to help. After plugging in the bass module to a power outlet, please follow these steps:
1. On the remote control, press the SoundTouch button.
2. Press and hold 7 on the remote until the connectivity indicator on the soundbar blinks white. Once paired, the bass module will emit a tone and the connectivity indicator on the soundbar glows white.

Unbearable Popping Noises

The thunderous sound from this bass is beautiful and clean, but constant popping noises made it unbearable to enjoy and forced me to return it without looking back once. Connecting the bass module with a wired connection should reduce or eliminate the noises, but defeats the whole point of going wireless. Supposedly, the popping noises are caused by wireless interferences but I hardly have much going on around my home, so I'm not sure what's up. I am pretty upset about this experience and cannot recommend this product to anyone unfortunately.

Frankly, it was an utter disappointment and absolute frustration. After wireless interference in the 5GHz band which caused extremely loud popping, the frustrating SoundTouch App that calibrated the bass out of the sound, and the fact that the bass module has a continual flutter...I reached my limit and called Bose for help. Their solution was to plug the Bass Module in using a 3.5mm cable. The wireless sub...using a cable...to fix a problem they claim was caused by wireless interference. And it still didn’t fix the flutter - continued for months. The only solution was to mail the stupid module back and wait until they sort it out. The experience left a bad taste for Bose’s products.
