For the money you get a nice package with a very cheap 5" woofer inside. There is no appreciable bass below 80hz and virtually none at higher volumes since a driver that small cannot physically produce deep bass at loud volumes. It is very easily outclassed by everything else in it's price point. I do not recommend this unit unless you are hopelessly married to Bose products.

The base can be adjusted to 5 different levels. Most movies are at the max 5 level and music is at a 4. This is highly recommened if you have a Bose soundbar.
