If the issue is resolved, then we'd suggest looking at the environment the system is set up. Was really easy to add to my setup using the Bose app. It does come with instructions but all they say is to plug in the speaker, install the bose music app, and then follow the instructions in the app to add as a accessory. Pretty straight forward I guess. Just search for accessories and it found and paired immediately. The Bose 500 soundbar had some nice bass to it already but this really enhanced the sound. Now I have that really low deep bass I didn't even know I was missing. You can also make adjustments in the Bose app if you want to add or remove bass. I feel that this speaker puts out the same amount of bass as my older sub which was a bit bigger. I wish they would include this with the soundbar but at least they give you the option to add one. In all this is a great addition to the supported soundbars if you have one.

The Bass Module 500 has thunderous bass in a compact,10-inch cube with wireless connectivity. It is easy to hide, but even easier to hear. You do not need a big box for big bass!

When the sound was turned up to high, I actually found it uncomfortable. You can feel the bass resonating throughout the room and even in your body. In the medium range though it made it seem like I was watching a movie in the theater and it definitely added to the experience of the Soundbar by itself. I have a large room that we have parties and gatherings in and I think it is well suited to that use. Even so, I would not use it at the highest volumes. I found the setup for the module to be the easiest I could possibly imagine. It operates seamlessly with the speaker. I would recommend the Bass Module for anyone that has a large space to use it in, outdoors would be ideal, and who needs to not just hear, but feel their sound.

It came with everything you need to get up and running. Using the Bose music app It came right up and started working. The sound was great. it’s not to loud and sounds natural. The bass sound but is not heavy or drowning it sounds very natural /pure. It’s just enough to give it a little if the deep sounds. I’m not one to play my movies or tv at a really loud volume I prefer a mid level sound. Paired with the bar I’m super happy with it. It was a huge upgrade from the tv speakers. It is small and compact not huge. It doesn’t take up too much space. The black does get some inter prints on it, but once set up ur not messing with it u less dusting. Bose did not disappoint.
