Popping Sounds
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked Great when I had the Sounbar 700 but when I upgraded to the 900 it now cracks and pops constantly. Very Disappointed in Bose. I may return it all and go Sonos even though I already have the surround speakers that I can't return.

Overall Impressions: Amazing sound quality, looks beautiful, guaranteed to improve your listening experience for any platform. Set Up: Setting up the Bose Bass Module was amazingly and mindblowingly simple. The Bose Bass Module 700 was used in conjunction with the Bose Soundbar 700 over the course of the last month. In the process of setting up the Soundbar, the Bose App prompts for additional Bose devices. I selected the Bose Bass Module, then had position it so that both were in line of sight for each other. The amazing thing about this to me is that this module is wireless. Beyond plugging it into the wall, the system handles everything else on its own. Use Cases: I've used this system for everything from playing games with subtle sound effects, watching horror films, listening to R+B, or listening to orchestral excerpts while practicing my instrument. The results were always the same: Astonishing. In my discussions with my housemate, I remarked how the bass effect was always felt rather than heard (as opposed to amateur car audio, which sought to blow your ears out). The first day I used this system, I could literally feel the bass in our furniture, but it maintained a sweet zone that allowed me to enjoy whatever I was watching or listening to. The Bose Bass Module truly is a work of art, and is well suited to anyone that really wants to take their listening experience to the next level.

Horrible.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pictures are bigger than this thing is in real life. Lol. Okay, I'm exagerating. But the base quality and depth is poor. The salesman at BestBuy told me this was their best soundbar and bass setup. For $1300 (for both) I was expecting superior sound. Not what I got. I returned it and got a Harmon Kardon SB26 for only $200 on sale and it is WAY better. Not even close!

||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not buy another Bose product. Was extremely difficult to set up and would not connect to TV, so had to re-set each time I turned on the TV. Returned to Best Buy and purchased Definitive Technology unit. Much Better! Not happy at all with sound quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not happy with this expensive product. I’ve already switched it out for another one once and I feel like o received the same one. Sound coming from sub is horrible, and for the price, it should be expected to sound good but what a mistake to purchase this Bose System.

Phenomenal Bass!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Soundbar 700 does a decent job delivering upper and mid bass for an enjoyable music and cinema experience, but adding the optional Bose Bass Module 700 totally transforms the experience with jaw dropping, thunderous, immersive deep bass that you'd typically associate with being in a movie theater. I could keep throwing superlative adjectives of praise to describe the bass, but this is one of those situations where you have to experience it yourself to believe how awesome the bass can be. Get the bass module if you want incredible lower end bass frequencies that will rattle your windows, shake the walls, and send vibrations through the floor. Get the bass module if you want to squeeze as much out of those explosive and rumbling sounds in action movies that you not only can hear, but feel. Get this bass module if you live in an apartment/condo and want to annoy the heck out of your neighbor. The bass module is a heavy weight, weighing in at around 36 lbs. It's topped off with the same beautiful tempered glass top found on the Bose 700 soundbar. It's relatively easy to wirelessly pair to the Bose 700 soundbar using the Bose Music App. As an option, the bass module can be wired into the soundbar using a 3.5mm aux cable. Wireless is the way to go, though. You're ready to rock, once you run the AdaptIQ audio calibration. I spent hours watching and re-watching my library of action movies as if it was for the first time. From the roar of rockets, to explosions, and punches in fight sequences, the omnidirectional bass blankets you in the middle of the action. It was simply phenomenal being able to feel the sound. The bass module 700 really adds that extra dimension, depth, and realism to the cinematic experience. Finally I want to point out that the bass module 700 is identical to the Acoustimass 300 bass module. It was simply relabeled as '700' to eliminate any confusion about compatibility of the bass module with the matching soundbar. Additionally, if you have the budget and the space, you may wish to add a second bass module 700 (or Acoustimass 300). You're gonna get even richer and more immersive bass! Do I recommend the bass module 700? A resounding Yes!!! This is one of those products where the price equates with the performance. If you love deep lower end bass that you can feel, you'll love this bass module. Highly recommend!

Posted .Hey! The Bass Module 700 can be connected wirelessly or wired to your soundbar in the Bose Music app, under the accessory speaker section. Try a reset on your soundbar and TV by disconnecting both from power for two minutes to clear HDMI inconsistencies. If the difficulties persist, reach out to Bose directly and we'll get things resolved! Sam - Bose Customer Support

Posted .Hi Agebleff123.
Sorry to hear about the issue you are facing. Having distorted sound can be caused by a number of things like interference, volume of the source, EQ settings on the app, etc. Please refer to this page for troubleshooting steps: https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/articles/HC2356/productCodes/bose_soundbar_700/article.html
That should address the issue.

Disappointing. Constant Popping Noises
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing sucks. For this money it shouldn’t have these popping noises. Bose recommends using a 3.5mm cable. Really? I’ll never buy another Bose product.

Wow, Bass.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Bass Module is a subwoofer that pairs with the Bose Soundbar 700. It looks just as beautiful as the soundbar with its glass top that gives it an elegant touch. In the box all that is included is a power cable. The Bass Module is heavy, weighing almost 40 lbs. The Bass Module connects wireless to the soundbar and if needed you can also connect it with a standard 3.5mm audio cable which is not included. Setup was simple all you have to do is add it to your list of accessories in the Bose Music app which you should already have downloaded to pair with the soundbar. Soundwise this thing give off deep low thundering bass, just what you want when watching movies. You can also adjust the bass setting within the app also if you need more! Overall the Bass Module 700 is a great pairing with the Bose Soundbar 700.

Posted .Hello Robert,
Thank you for leaving a review. We are sorry to hear you have encountered popping noises. This is not at all the quality that is expected from our products.
Please note, in some situations, popping can occur due to Wireless Interference, as the Subwoofer is connected to the Soundbar Wirelessly. This is caused by having a different powerful wireless device close to the set-up, like a router, for example.
You can always reach out to our team for more information on how to set the system up in order to minimize interference. You can do so by using this link: https://bose.life/globalcontact
Kind Regards,
