My only issue with this system is the audio output is outdated. No True HD or Atmos. Asked Bose about an update and they have no answer.

The speakers knock and not even on the highest volume. We purchased for the family room and it’s just disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't find the bass response loud enough. There is a useful page on our site that provides information on how to get the most from your Soundbar/Bass module.

You may also need to consider the location of the bass module, placing it closer to a corner of the room will give a better boomier response.

It's awesome otherwise. Adding the extra surround sound speakers would add a movie experience. I would recommend.
