Great bundle value with Bose speaker ....sounds great .

After having a frustrating experience with a Bass Module purchased in 2017, I thought Bose would be far enough along to resolve the prior issues that frustrated me. My mistake. Both modules had issues with a fluttering noise that sounds like paper at lower frequencies. It sounds like a super cheap rattling speaker at low volumes. I tried putting it on carpet, moving it, checking other items in the room, before I just picked up the sub while it was playing and realized it was the subwoofer by itself - the noise comes from the speaker when when it’s not in contact with the ground. This is the second Acoustimass Bass module in my house and they both have a flutter at certain frequencies that makes these expensive subwoofers sound like cheap paper cone speakers that have been blown. Just absolutely disappointing and ruins the experience. It’s absolutely maddening and unacceptable. Maybe you’ll win the lottery and find a great sub without these issues. My 12 year old Sony HTIB subwoofer in the same room plays clear punchy bass with no issue. This brand new Bose Bass Module cannot. It’s just not worth the time. So disappointed in Bose on this specific issue. This module is what’s used in their Lifestyle Series - shouldn’t have fluttering noises in a $3500 system or a $1700 SoundBar system. And no, I don’t play these systems loud or do anything that would cause the speakers to be blown.

Purchased my Bose 700 subwoofer with my Bose 900 sound bar. Top notch audio performance!

Got this a couple of weeks ago on the open box aisle and it is everything I expected and some.My deal was Xmas in MarchThanks guy,you know who you are.Saved over $300.

The subwoofer sounds great but at low volume. If you increase the volume it dies not produce solids right base. There are separate subwoofers which produce better sound such as SVS mini sub.

Good subwoofer with serious WIFI issues. I had terrible issues with popping and cracking noise when set up to connect wirelessly. It was so bad, could not listen. I tried all the fixes on Bose’s website and others online to no avail. I finally had to connect the subwoofer to the sound bar with a cord. For this price range, that is not acceptable. It is a shame because I really like the Bose 900 sound bar, but adding the subwoofer almost caused me to bring it back. If you can’t or don’t want to connect the sound bar with a cable think twice.

The bass from this sub is phenomenal…the insane popping noise, horrible. I wouldn’t recommend until Bose does a fix on their end.

For being Bose you would think they would have their stuff together. I'm only giving it 2 stars since it sounded really good when it worked. I had connection issues from the start and then had some scratching noises at times where there was a bad connection. Bose and bluetooth seem to always be an issue for some reason. This is not the only Bose product I've had with bad bluetooth connections.
