Thumping noise

He did his research and went with the Bose wireless surround sound with this subwoofer. The sound quality is great until you continually get wifi interference. The thumping noise sounds are loud and super distracting. We had to constantly reset it. We finally broke down and hard wired it but that defeats the whole purpose of going wireless. I’m glad we had a spot to put it where it’s not noticeable. I would definitely consider something else if you can hard wire it.

From what you have described, this sounds more like wireless interference. A device that emits wireless signals like a Wi-Fi router could be interfering with the wireless connection between the soundbar and the bass module.
