Having this Bass Module with the Bose Soundbar or higher is absoltulry necessary!! You just won’t get the bass or rumbling you’re looking for without it! But I also highly recommend buying two to place in your media room far drom other wireless devices! The wireless devices create interference with the bass which is a major no-no!! But if you can place them evenlycand run AdaptIQ, your bass with be absolutely stunning! Two modules do what one module cannot - the bass is well supported by two modules. Otherwise bass lovers will hear such a muddy, rattling bass thats distracting when pushing one module to the max. Go ahead and add to that bass output, you won’t be sorry! You can always turn down the volume or adjust EQ settings to lower bass output if it’s too much out of the box!! The extra bass module balances the higher end frequencies too! I can focus more on the dialogue and layered background sounds! I’ll never go back to one module ! Im in love

This is a must-have for your Bose setup! I have been putting this off for years because I already have the 500 as part of a package. This makes me want to rewatch all the big production movies.

This bass or subbuffer is incredible, the sound and the strength it has I had never heard before in a home theater system, I recommend it with my eyes closed, apart from the softness and clarity of its basses that without thinking much elevate you when you listen to good music, I recommend it 100% you can't miss it.

Bose Bass 700 - Open Box Item

Ok so I have a 700- Soundbar. Nice but my LG TV has a better sound. So I decided to kick this up and add a base speaker. First the bass speaker is more than the soundbar. So not wanting to drop a ton of money I took a shot at an open box item for around $200 off new, I selected the excellent quality. It came in the origiunal box and packaging and not a scratch on it. Only thing missing was the paper work but I double checked and you still get the factor warranty if you need it. Now about the bass. Let me say I was not blown away based on the price point of this unit. I wasn't even sure it was working after I set it up. I was expecting more out of the unit. I'm assuming that who ever bought/returned this was maybe thinking the same. aftr messing with it for about an hour, I ran a netflix movie through it and this is where it stared to shine. The bass is subtle but you can hear it and it does make a difference. Back on TV it is ver light but there is an audible difference when you turn the bass off an on. I don't think it is worth the 800 price tag and if I wasnt already invested in this soundbar, then I would not have gotten this. If you can get an open box and save some money it maybe a better deal for you and therefore would recomment at that price point. The total sound with the soundbar and the bass makes a difference, but it is not like my old Sony 5.1 but the sound is different like it fills the room.

Perfect compliment to the 900 ATMOS sound bar. I never realized the depth and height of sound missing from my 300 SoundTouch. I moved my old Bose system upstairs to make room for the latest tech. It did not disappoint. The bass is snappy for jazz and room shaking/filling for home theater. What an all around performer. If you have any Bose sound bar add this gem to unlock it true potential. If you an audiophile stick to components you’ll be happy. But if you want to simplify and you want the best sound and flexibility don’t hesitate!

This works so well, neighbor complained the Bass and Treble knocked things off their wall (townhouse shared wall). Absolutely, no regret, highly recommend. I have this paired with the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, no other speakers, soundbar and subwoofer only. The sound is great and loud as needed.

I have the Bose 900 soundbar and married it up with the 700 Bass Module and even tho the soundbar was amazing by itself, but by adding the 700 bass module to it changed the total expectations and the dynamics in to one word….. Amazing. This duo in my opinion makes it feels like I’m at the movies, and listening to music, well it’s Bose what can I say. Set up was a simple plug and play.

Awesome bass! The sound is rich and unbelievable. You can truely feel the sound. If you can afford spending that amount of money on a soundbar you should add the bass subwoofer 700. Its worth every penny, movies on your blu-ray or Netflix sounds incredible. Make sure your t.v. has an eArc or hdmi connection. I've had this subwoofer for about one month and love it. It was a little Pricey but l also got the soundbar 900.

So I already had the Bose 300 sound bar and I decided to pair it up with this Bose 700 sub. One of the best decisions I’ve made in my life! You can really hear and experience the full spectrum of sounds with this perfect combination of Bose speakers. You don’t know what you’re missing until you hook this bass beast up.. Wow! It really makes for a theater-like experience especially paired with the LG 86” monster tv.. The bass comes in at just the right moment and doesn’t overpower the dialogue but definitely compliments it. It’s powerful, low bass that surrounds you in beautiful low frequencies that are both felt and heard.

If you only have the soundbar you need the bass module. This is what ive heard for the longest time, but its 100% the truth. Great addition to the home theater.

Purchased this to accompany the 700 series soundbar. I must say I wasn't expecting much of a difference coming from the last generation bass module, but WOW I was blown away. After completing the Adapt IQ setup it sounded better than some systems I have heard for thousands of moire dollars for the complete setup. The Bose musicologists Capp makes it very easy to adjust the settings for the subwoofer. This little guy packs quite a punch for its size. Amazing how much it changes the existing setup. Makes it nice that it is a wireless connection with option to add a 3.5mm castle and connect directly to soundbar. I highly recommend this subwoofer.

Awesome! Paired with the Bose soundbar 700 and my home has a true theater and club experience. Love this when watching movies with my kids and today it was the superstar. I threw my son a graduation party and using the Bluetooth function to play music was a snap and the sound rocked my house. Everyone, including my graduate, was impressed by the output of this base module. I actually had to turn it down a bit because some songs made the house shake....that’s no small fest given there’s over 3500 sq ft to move. Thank you Bose!
