I purchased the 300 Soundbar about 3 years ago, and while it improved the sound quality over TV speakers significantly, it lacks the ‘thunder’ of the subwoofer. Finally added the 700 Subwoofer and am pleased with it. Just the right amount of bass. It’s not inexpensive, but definitely enhances movies, TV, etc.

Perfect addition to my bose soundbar 700. If you have a bose soundbar and feel the need for a upgrade in sound and impact, just get this. Also one of the easiest setup through the app. It was up and running in less than 10 minutes from box to setup.

Bass, I was looking for booming floor shaking bass and I got it. And the sounds is so clear. Worth the money. Also buy the 3.5mm connector jack for it so it will keep a solid connection.

This subwoofer really helps my Bose 900 soundbar pop. I look forward to buying the surround speakers and completing the set. It was somewhat of a pain to setup, but that was probably due more to my not knowing what I was doing with the setup.

The sound bar 900 was good on its own but with the bass module 700 It Was Way better fills the room. shakes the sofa and scares the cat. Couldn’t get any better than that. Love it.

Fantastic sound. Looks so good in the living room. Easy set up. Bose quality through and through. Matched up with the 500 sound bar and works great. Not a big fan of having to use the Bose app to set everything up.

Has very deep bass with no distortion and I listen to a lot of rap songs with low bass lines and this subwoofer has my home sounding like a club every time. With movies the bass shakes the room and I have a pretty large home. Definitely will buy a second module to give it tha full theater experience. Works better with soundbar when soundbar is using Ethernet cord directly to modem in my opinion. If your module is too close to internet modem there will be some popping noises cause of wireless interference so if this happens just use Ethernet cord and problem solved.

Fantastic bass ! A little pricy but worth it. Goes with my 700 series soundbar. Needed BOSE tech support to guide through connection but was worth it :)h

Easy to set up. Good sound. A bit pricey. Still, a nice setup for our apartment.

The Bass Module 500 was great for music but sounded boomy in movies and failed to provide the low-end grunt needed. The Bass Module 700 on the other hand sounded like a proper Home Theater Subwoofer. Natural sounding with tight impactful and powerful bass. The difference was night and day. Not that the 700 was just louder than the 300, but the quality of the bass was entirely different. So I returned the Base Module 500 and upgraded to a Base Module 700. The Base Module 700 is compatible with both Bose Soundbars 300 and 700 (and the 500 per Bose's website, though the 500 appears to be discontinued). The crossover points are well matched; providing a seamless integration of low, mid and high frequencies regardless of either soundbar. So if you already have a Soundbar and are considering adding a Base Module 500, I recommend saving up and getting a Bass Module 700 instead.

The richness of the lows this bass module provides is incredible when used with the Bose 900 soundbar. The set up was very easy just be sure to follow the instructions carefully.

Very good subwoofer and every good sound. Listening this product like movie theater. The bass is very soft and stronger too. It's excellent subwoofer.

I originally purchased a returned one, but it didn’t work. Took it back and bought a new one—it’s great. I highly recommend getting a subwoofer like this for your Bose soundbar—it completes the sound experience.

I had purchased both sizes of the Bose Subwoofer to do a comparison. The 700 exceeded the performance of the lower end Bose 500. The 700 has clear and full base without being overpowering. The 700 is a great choice. No regrets
