Nice but not well rounded
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is good but we feel like the base is lacking. The older Bose sound bar we have had a better quality sound.

DISAPPOINTED
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed with this product. Popping noise every time you are trying to listen to music or watch a movie. I bought the sound bar 700 and the module 700 and never again. For a product that cost this much, this obnoxious popping noise is not acceptable. Don't even think about reaching out to Bose because they don't even know how to fix their own products. STAY AWAY YOU ARE WARNED

Posted .Hello, thanks for leaving your thoughts on the Bass Module 700. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced some popping issues with the bass module. A popping noise can be caused by interference from nearby Bluetooth or WiFi products. Moving the position off the bass module can prevent this, or using an AUX cord to connect the module to the soundbar.

Posted .Hello,
We understand you've returned the Bass Module. If you want to try the Bass Module again. The popcorn sound you mention indicates there may be something interfering with the signal. Try moving the Bass Module closer to the Soundbar or another location.
Of course you can contact us https://bose.life/38DNELy for further support, as we'd love to help.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Years ago I had a Bose surround sound system and loved it. I purchased this just over the phone because of Covid and was very disappointed that the surround sound speakers wouldn't output any sound. So I risked going in and was introduced to the Definitive Speakers and wow they blow away the Bose system in my opinion.

Beware of purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first this was a great bass speaker. Now there's this annoying popping sound that never stops. For the money i paid i shouldn't be experiencing this problem. The speaker quality looks nice but can't enjoy watching a movie due to the annoying sound. Crazy part is many are complaining about the same issue. Boss needs to replace these with a working speaker.

Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After multiple issues with the Soundbar 700 and Surround Speakers I am returning those and this base module. 1. Remote does not properly control non Bose products. 2. Soundbar loses connection with surrounds daily even though the status light is white indicating they are connected. Requires disabling the surround in the app, unplugging the sound bar to power cycle and then enabling in the app again to restore surround output. 3. Sound bar lost HDMI arc audio on multiple days forcing TV to take over. Power cycle required to restore. 4. Sound is good but not great, could be better. Overall too many frustrating issues and poor quality for the given price point of the system. I like Bose products generally but this is my first and last Bose Soundbar combo.

Not so good
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The bass is strong and has a great sound. On the other hand when the sub is over 80% you can smell it getting hot like wires burning and popping
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Bose Support
Posted .Hello James, I'm glad that you are enjoying your Bass module. The smell you are referring to can be the system off gassing, this can happen when glue on the driver is heating up. This odour will dissipate over time. However, If the system is feeling very hot to touch or shows signs of burning, please contact our technical support team who will be more than happy to assist you: bose.life/3rykPZR.
