I bought a Bose sound bar and a year later added the bass. It was easy to set up and has been perfect for my living room surround sound. The bass is clear and crisp. Absolutely love Bose products!

The Bose base speaker is a powerhouse of performance. Easily adjusted with the Bose music app.. No distortion and great performance. It cost a little bit but the bang for the buck is worth the investment.

WE BOUGHT THIS ALONG WITH THE 900 SOUND BAR AND REAR SPEAKERS. UNBELIEVABLE BASS AND OVERAL QUALITY AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM BOSE. IT COSTS MORE BUT WORTH IT FOR THE SOUND, QUALITY AND LOOKS. SOMETHING YOU COULD PASS DOWN TO YOUR KIDS. SOLID AND WELL MADE.

I have this paired with my smart soundbar 900 and it compliments it very well. The soundbar produces deceptively good base and when you combine it with the base module 700 its premium cinema like. I have the base module set at a 5/10 when I play call of duty and I sit 10 feet away and I can feel the base with the gunfire and explosions through the back of my chair... and its on carpet.. not hardwood haha Also.. connectd to sound bar in less than 20 seconds .

I love this! Very clean and crisp base. Subwoofer along with the sound bar or absolutely awesome. If I turn them up real loud it sounds like I’m in the movie theater.

So glad I added this with the 900 sound bar and surround speakers. The sound is crisp and immersive. No problems, easy connect.

I bought the Bose bass module 700 with the smart soundbar 900, and while it sounds awesome, there is one major issue that prevents me from recommending this wireless bass module. One major requirement of a smart soundbar is that it can connect to a Wi-Fi signal. While that it is indeed a feature of Bose smart soundbars, it doesn't work well with whatever proprietary method they are using to transmit a wireless signal from the soundbar to the bass module. The problem is that the Wi-Fi signal causes interference that manifests as a popping sound in the bass module. Needless to say, it sounds terrible and completely ruins the experience of watching television. The "solution" in this case is to disable the Wi-Fi connection in the soundbar, which effectively converts an expensive smart soundbar into a severely overpriced dumb soundbar. What's more is that most of the settings for the soundbar are only accessible via a mobile application that connects... wait for it... via Wi-Fi. That means every time I want to make an adjustment, I have to grab the remote and enable the Wi-Fi, grab my phone and open the app, navigate to the soundbar in the app, change the intended settings, and then grab the remote again to disable the Wi-Fi. That is what I would could a very poor user experience. Alternatively this interference issue can be eliminated by connecting the smartbar to the bass module with a cable. They do offer a cable of course, but you have to purchase it separately, and at this price point I am loath to hand over more money when the cable should have been included with the bass module to begin with.

It sounds great when it works. Bass is deep and it’s all that you would expect from a Bose product. Playing music is awesome and the sound is pure. However.... There is a horrible hollow knocking sound that evidently is a known issue w this product. Read the blogs... When you stream or watch cable it intermittently knocks and it’s not cool! Especially at this price point, I certainly did not expect this! I switched out the sub on warranty (which had its own set of issues at the Best Buy store) but the issue persists. Next step.. get on a long call w Bose customer care and try to figure it out. Not looking forward to that! I would consider this strongly before you spend the money. You may want to think about a Sonos.

I've always been a Bose fan for years. The quality of sound, the deep resonating bass, it's beautiful. This subwoofer doesn't disappoint. The rich sound let's you hear everything through the sound bar.

This is my third Bose bass module. I’ve tried other manufacturers and speakers, but Bose always wins out. The bass from a Bose bass module is clean, deep and wide ranged. I will always own Bose.

Pricey purchase but I would recommend it. Sounds good and adds the extra to the sound bar and perfects it more than it already is. A little heavy but not to much.

Exceptional sound quality and bass you expect from bose

I purchased these speakers to pair with the Bose Soundbar 700. They connect wirelessly so it makes its so much easier. The soundbar one of the best out there so I was on the fence about if I would really need these speakers I decided since my living room is pretty large I would give them a try and I am so glad I did. They help to really give you the full surround sound experience. As we were watching our show my husband and I kept turning our heads when we heard certain sounds. The sounds were all around us so it makes you feel like you are really there. If you have a large space and can afford the extra money for these you won't be disappointed.

This is the best subwoofer money can buy. Hands down. I’ve tried many. Sound is everything to me when watching sports and movies.

My husband asked for this for Christmas and he hardly ever asks for anything. Initially I was going to purchase the 300 series, but after some research and the constant smile on my husband’s face, I definitely made the right choice. The sound is so good, when my brother’s girlfriend asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he enthusiastically, without hesitation chose this product. Make sure you purchase the sound bar and speakers. The accompaniment is out of this world. There’s also a different wire we had to purchase later due to the vibration causing the sound to go in and out at times.
