In my last house i had it wired because everything was already there to do so and it was hidden... I have since moved and need to rely on the bluetooth and this system has the worst connectivity i have ever experienced... The subwoofer pops and cracks at all times and sounds like garbage. I have spent several different days on the phone with bose and been through all the troublesbooting steps until they basically said there was nothing else to try and just plug it in... DO NOT BUY THIS FOR A WIRELESS SET UP. Unfortunately i have already purchased other bose household speakers in order to work together and now i will have to spend more replacing them for something that actually works... Again, unless you want to run a 3.5 wire to it, DO NOT BUY IT. Bose will pretend they never heard of this when you call, but its everywhere online.

I'd recommend trying to minimise potential sources if wireless interference, as the Bass Module and Soundbar communicate through a 5GHz non-Bluetooth connection.
