I was looking for good noise cancelling over-the-ear. headphones. I tried ear buds and on-ear headphones and didn't like them. I read in Wirecutter that these were their favorites so I gave them a try. Wow, they are really good! The noise cancellation feature is amazing - it's like you're in one of those rooms where they do hearing tests - no outside noise at all, total silence. The music quality is very good. I don't like overamped bass or trebble - pretty flat response is what I prefer. The Bose app that works with them allows you to tailor the response if you want to. And you can change the amount of noise cancellation. They really are very good - highly recommended.

This quick review is for the 700 series of the new Bose headsets! I actually didn’t have a need for yet other “high end” headset, but have been following the newest Bose release lately. This model was on sale for a $100 discount and considering it was available at Best Buy (with their unbeatable return policy), made me take the plunge... Soooo happy I did! Other than the fact I already owned the Sony Wireless Series WH-1000 XM2, I was very thrilled to enjoy the quality, style & sound on this new Bose headset! Other than missing the digital audio override feature found on the Sony’s (where you can cover the right ear cup to silence your audio temporarily while chatting to someone), it is very much a serious competitor to the Sony (even the newest XM3’s). It’s very serious competition, and enjoys a somewhat slimmer case as well! I highly recommend this headset! Buy one at Best Buy and see/hear for yourself. Cheers and good luck.

Loved the headphones, but felt like there wasn't enough bass and treble without messing with the EQ. And they're good for light workouts and everyday listening.

Exactly what I expected. I am really enjoying the crisp, clean sounds.

This is best headphone so far i have got it. It has best voice Mic quality ,excellent in making calls,awesome touch control , solid noise cancelling, longer battery.I think its best phone in market and i wish, would have bought earlier, wasted lot of money in other headphones

I bought these hoping they would be good for music as well as home office phone headset. They sounded pretty good for music but when I was trying to use them for phone calls captured all the sound around me through the microphone. website app was a bit iffy as well. I ended up returning these. The noise cancellation though and listening to music was really good. I would recommend for music only

These are amazingly comfortable. They produce great sound and do a great job of blocking out noise around you. They made my flight from JFK to Hong Kong so much more pleasant.
