I need to work from home, which is relatively loud, and these are perfect. Comfortable for all day wear, and the different noise cancellation settings make them perfect for times when I want to be aware of my environment.

Really like these. I was an earbuds person, now I use these all the time. Really clean sound. Doesn't get that loud. Can use a better EQ. Still great features, the touch works really well. Would definitely recommend.

Bose has some of the top noise cancelling headphones! These do not disappoint. Overall sound great and light weight for long flights.

I purchased these as I was in the market for new headphones. I wanted noise cancelling headphones that still produced a great overall sound. Bose always provides great sound depth and range and that was the biggest reason for purchasing these. Some drawbacks to the sound, these don't seem as full range as some of the other Bose headphones I've used. We live in a time now where most headphones (at least all of the ones I've recently owned) provide the ability for you to adjust the EQ to best fit the music that you are listening to. Bose does not have this ability with these headphones. I am fairly disappointed with the sound quality of these when comparing to other higher end products from headphone brands. The noise cancelling is probably the biggest disappointment in these headphones. When the noise cancelling level is set to 10, I would say this is the equivalent to just wearing headphones with no music. There's not much noise cancelling past very low levels of ambient sound. The difference is the lower you go in settings the more ambient noise is allowed in. I would say that these function more as a "backwards" noise-cancelling, like if you wanted to be let in to the conversation around you, instead of taking them off you just reduce the nc level. I would prefer something that was a little bit more truly noise cancelling (if you've put on the new Sony's then that's what I think should be the baseline of what nc really is). Again, the nc capabilities of these headphones are no different than just wearing any set of headphones on your ears. Another thing to factor in your decision. It has taken me over a week to finally get these headphones connected to the app. There is a known issue with app connection and the headphones since July. We are now in November with no real fix other than to continuously try these steps. I would say that as someone who works on bug fixes and issues in their day job (I am not considering myself an expert by any means only stating in my experience) I would not be allowed to have this much time go by without pushing a fix to production. To me that's a glaring issue and insight into how Bose as a company functions. I am finally able to get the phones connected, but it is only intermittent and sometimes they won't connect at all. Bose's work around for this is to undo everything and start all over with another connection setup attempt. Not okay in my opinion for spending $400. My only pro: These actually are really comfortable, I have a lot of earrings in my ears and many in positions that get pushed on by other headphones which is painful for long term listening. I actually have no issue with these pushing on my ears too bad. In conclusion: For $400 you can get a set of headphones that are amazing sound quality, truly noise cancelling, and come with the technology that you know you can rely on. I would not spend your money here unless the look is really what you're going for.

These are the best noise cancelling headphones I have ever had.

The noise canncelling is good but when compared to the Apple Airpods Max they arent even in the same ballpark. They comfort is there but I think the noise cancelling needs some improving.
