    Returned this “Triple Midnight” only because when I picked it up the color was not as dark as the picture. Got the black pair instead and am enjoying the great sound quality and really like the adjustable noise cancellation. So, quality is there...just know that the Triple Midnight is slightly lighter than you think. But this is where Best Buy’s return policy is helpful.

    At first, I was impressed by the sound-cancelling properties of these headphones. Thing is, I was using them at home and with my phone. They are very good over Bluetooth. However, I purchased them to use them on a plane, since I fly often. They cancel outside sounds well there - until you plug them in to the in-flight entertainment, that is. That was when I found you can use the cancellation feature when you're on a wired connection. I thought I was doing something wrong on the plane, but once I landed and searched online, I found reviews that stated "wired = no cancellation". How that is possible is beyond me, but I've found no solution in the Bose documentation on in the Bose app.

      Thanks so much for taking the time to review the Noise-canceling 700 headphones. I am so happy that you were impressed by these headphones.

      You are correct, much like our QC35 II headphones the noise canceling is turned off when using the wired connection with no power in the headphones. If you connect the headphones via wired connections and power on the headphones on the noise canceling will still work.

    Great set a well rounded performance. The flexibility of being able to answer a phone call with this noise cancellation headphones makes this a great choice. Not to mention, it’s sleek look. Only criticism I have, is when required to gaze downward, headphone tends to slip easily out of position. Love the ease of touch control.

    Only the best by bose. Bose constantly lead the noise cancelling race. These headphones are the cream of yhe crop when it comes to NC. The app has deastically improved since launch and allows you to adjust the eq, check battery and update firmware.

    Great sound quality and amazing noise cancellation. I also wanted a pair for work, since I mainly take phone calls, and they are fantastic! Voice is clear for people when I talk and the noise is minimized from things happening around me.
