    Great Sound Quality, Terrible Craftsmanship

Sound Quality is nothing short of amazing. No compliants only praises for sound quality and noise cancellation. But Ive had these headphones since 2019 and have had to have them replaced twice so far due to poor craftsmanship. The quality of the ear muffs and lining of the headphones need to be more durable. The headphones will still sound amazing but after about a year of consistent use the cushions literally fall apart. I also thought maybe it was just me and i was a bit rough with them, but coincidentally the day i went to Best Buy to fufill my replacement plan for them there was a guy in there switching out the same headphones for the same problems directly behind me. So if youre looking into these, definetley take that into consideration.

Hey, it's awesome to hear that you've been enjoying the sound quality and noise cancellation. Sorry that you've experienced some wear with the ear cushions. This is natural due to the oils and sweats your body produces when wearing the headphones. We recommend wiping them down after prolonged use and storing them in the case with the silica gel packet to absorb any excess moisture.

The cushions are easily replaceable. You can find them here - https://bose.life/3Bo7l3l.

My husband and I both have a pair of these. Sound is amazing. This is our second pair. Our only complaint is the muff part comes apart and there is no way to replace other than buying a new pair.

This is my 1st experience with Bose headphones but I have known people who had prior versions and really liked them. This review was harder to write than I expected as I wanted to be fair and not be influenced by the Bose name/reputation. Having said that I do recommend these as I found them to have good sound quality and very good noise canceling ability, but both of these are very user subjective. In the box; Nicely packaged. Hard sided traveling case has a nice built in “cubby” hole for the supplied 19-inch type C USB charging cable and the 42-inch 3.5 mm audio cable. Product info included is worthless on how to operate the headphones. Use impression - positives; I found the design to be very minimalistic, which I happen to like. To adjust, the earcups slide along the outside “rib”. They swivel but don’t fold. Fully charged – the app indicated I had over 20 hours of use with noise canceling on. There is also a voice heard when wearing the headphones that gives you information such as pairing, time left on charge, etc. They came 40% charged and took maybe an hour (?) to fully charge using built-in USB outlet on power strip. Easily added to my existing Bose Music app (have 500 soundbar). Would suggest you use the Product Help within the app as it will link you to Bose website where you can find how to guides, troubleshooting, manuals, warranty and community info. Also easily paired to my phone and laptop (uses Bluetooth 5.0). I could get about 50 feet (through 2 walls) or so away from my phone before starting to lose connection. You are supposed to be able to pair this with 2 devices at the same time (phone and laptop would be a nice combo), but I did not try it. I found them, initially, to be comfortable to wear - not heavy at all (about half a pound in weight). BUT they fit very snugly around your ears/head. I assume to aid in noise canceling – consequently I started to feel uncomfortable wearing them after a couple of hours. Media controls are done by touch – no buttons. – which took me a little getting used to. The controls are on the front of the right earcup and worked well most of the time. Double tape to pause or play, swipe forward to skip to next track, swipe backward for previous track, swipe up/down for volume. Volume max was more than loud enough for me. Most call controls are also done by touch – double tap to answer or end call, decline call tap and hold for 1 second. To mute a call, you do press and release the voice assistant button bottom of right earpiece. I don’t do calls so I only tried this once and it worked OK. Sound quality was good enough to not struggle to make out what was being said to me and person on other end of call indicated they could hear me well enough as well. There are some functions using buttons; Power on/off/Bluetooth is top button on right earpiece. Press and release to turn headphones on/off or press and hold to pair it using Bluetooth. I have to admit I wound up getting frustrated with this dual purpose. It kept wanting to pair a device when I simply wanted to turn headphones on. I also wound up unpairing headphones inadvertently once. Not sure why they decided this was a good idea? Voice assistant bottom button on right earpiece – press and release and after hearing tone say your request. Worked fine for me using Alexa. Noise control button – press and release to hear current level, repeat until you are at preferred level, or press and hold for 1 second for conversation mode – which allows you to hear outside noises clearly if you need to carry on a conversation with someone for a short time. I wound up liking this feature more than I thought I would, but simply taking off one earpiece seems easier/quicker. Noise canceling function is very good. I used them while on my treadmill and could barely hear it with headphones on highest setting. I have to admit that 10 different settings seem more hype than truly functional. I really couldn’t discern any appreciable difference between some of the levels. Watching movies on my laptop, using Bluetooth connection, the sound I heard was well synched with the screen. I have had other headphones where that was not the case. Having the option to hard wire these is nice if battery is dead, somewhere you cannot use Bluetooth or maybe to tap into in-flight entertainment. Use impression - negatives; Power/Bluetooth dual use button can be irritating as sometimes it wants to pair device when all I want is for it to turn on. Or worse un-pairs headphones. Bose Music app has no EQ – so you cant customize the sound. I took off 1 star due to the 2 above issues – would have taken .5 but that isn’t possible. Because the headphones don’t fold the case, while nice, is pretty large for travel. Overall a good overall design/function and do recommend – but not perfect – at least not for me.

The Bose 700 is the best, hands down. Like the look, the feel, the sound of course and the limited edition, triple midnight color. I have the Sony as well, however, the Bose just feels and sounds better. And that color. Come on Sony, how about some color?

I never write reviews and I have spent the last couple of years trying to find the perfect pair of noise canceling headphones or earbuds. For the money, nothing has felt worth it yet. I was excited about these since Bose and Sony seem to try and out do each other, I figured these would be better than the sony xm3s and I just barely said no to the xm3s because I just couldn't get them loud enough for my liking and the phone call quality is garbage. Out of the box they feel ok... I let them get all their firmware updates. I set up my favorite playlist and every song sounded awful. The lows just weren't there and all the highs sound like they are being fed through the microphone and back through the speaker or something. It has a strange digital compressed sound to it. Honestly, I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews. I wouldn't spend $100 on these..

Flat sound, lacks bass and they're slightly heave for being a wireless device. The store returning warranty is too limited, fourteen days is not enough to give this item a try. Target on the other hand, offers 30 days, which will be my way to go next time

These sound amazing, noise canceling is a game changer. The only issue is that once in awhile the connection gets a little choppy. It only last like 3 seconds but still a little annoying given the price of these. Ive only had them for one week, may return them.

Great set of headphones. Took me awhile to decide on these, but I listen to more standard music rather than hard rock or loud music. My take on these is that they fit my tastes more than sony.

I wish the noise canceling was better, along with the bass. The feel of the leather cups is nice but on hot days I can see them building and collecting sweat. I ended up return them and getting the AirPods Max
