There are multiple levels of noise cancelling for any level you want. The sound quality is perfect.

I compared these to some Sony WXH-1000M4s and there was a world of difference, sound wise. The noise cancelling was even, I'd say, and for this price, why get these when there are other offerings that sound better with similar ANC performance? Build quality was the only thing that these had going for them, I was very impressed with the band and feel of them, so if that's a concern, and you listen to more podcasts and audibles, then these would probably be great for you, otherwise, for music, I can't recommend them.

It's great to hear how much you are enjoying the noise cancellation and build quality of your headphones!
If the sound of them isn't to your taste straight away, you'll be happy to know they have an EQ in the Bose Music app you can use to adjust the sound! In the Bose Music app, select your headphones, then EQ and adjust the settings here to fine tune the sound to your tastes!

I have sony wh 1000xm3 and sound quality is not great compared to sony. Was really dissapointed given the price point

Told them that the one ear doesn’t play any sound. They told me it was because of my brand new iPad Pro. Yeah no. Then told me to look it up on YouTube. Don’t buy anything from this location. Still doesn’t work in the one ear so it’s not noise cancelling for my autistic son even though the salesman assured it was.
