The 700's were voted very high/best for over-the-ear but the headband is very slippery and there are no volume buttons - so they fall off easily and sliding your finger along the side is really hard while running! Not sure who wrote the review but... They're good headphones but QuietComforts were better for these activities.

Sadly they are out of warranty. They worked really well then one day the noise cancellation presumably suddenly decided to crap out. I can hear a buzz out of one of the sides. Pretty annoying and disappointed they didn't last longer as good care was all these headphones ever got
