Good value for money. In the beginning I thought these were overrated; however after a couple of different uses (plane, videoconf, etc) I think these are great.

The best headphone that I used so far from my experience. It's expensive but you will not regret the quality of the audio. I will definitely recommend this headphone to anyone looking to purchase a quality product.

I had these headphones for about 18 months. They still look like new. However, they are completely dead. No lights come on when I attempt to charge them. Nothing. Bose support says they're out of warranty and offered me a "paid replacement". These are expensive headphones to only last less than two years. No thanks.

They don't fit very tight. They slipped off my head bending over. Luckily they didn't fall in the dog poop.

    Loud Crackle/Static from Right Earpiece

I've had these headphones for a few months now. They used to work great. Now, I have a persistent loud crackle/static noise coming from the right earpiece which has rendered the headphones unusable. I see there are a number of Bose Support posts about this issue and even after trying their troubleshooting steps the problem persists. For the price point, I did not expect to have to be trying to get a warranty replacement after a few months of light usage.

      Hi Liz,

I'm glad to hear you have been finding your headphones great so far! You certainly should not be hearing any crackle or static from one of the ears. It sounds like you have already been trying some troubleshooting, but I'd definitely recommend trying any steps at this link that you haven't already: https://bose.life/3sL6eGC

Thank you for sharing your thoughts of our new headphones!
I'm sorry to hear that you were unimpressed with the sound quality of our Noise-Cancelling Headphones 700. I would normally advise that you check the connection via both Bluetooth and AUX, and test this with more than 1 device to check that the sound quality is not limited to that device or method. If so, I would recommend that you check through the EQ settings of that device for a balance you're happy with.
If you're still unimpressed with the quality, please reach out to Bose support for further assistance!

I bought this item and there was no charger in the box to charge it. In terms of functioning, it works perfectly. There was a scratch on the top of it when I did open the box.

These are great headphones. My only concern is that there is pressure on my ears in the inside. Like air pressure. It is a little weird at first. I think it is probably from the noise cancelling

As expected, Bose has given us another incredible product. I own several Bose devices, and am consistently impressed every time. These Bose ‘700’ Noise Cancelling Headphones are a classy looking piece of sound technology. Stylish and modern, with an excellent build quality as one would expect from this brand. The headphones come in a nice zippered case, which is perfect for storing the headphones when traveling or simply tucking them safely away when not in use. The material that the ear cups are made of is soft and supple, created to be leather-like and wearable for an extended length of time. However, they made my ears sweat after only one hour, which was a bit of a bummer. The cushioned headband was soft and comfortable, so much so, that I didn’t much feel the weight of them at all. But I did find that the position of where the ear cups fit on the side of my jawline, began to irritate me after a while. They fit snugly though, which is necessary to make the most of Bose’s noise-cancelling tech. Call quality was consistent, with no fluctuations, however, overall it seemed lacking. I could hear the person on the other end of the call just fine, but their voice sounded muted, and not as “true to life” as I would have expected from a Bose product. Normally, I have found memorizing touch and button controls difficult and challenging for most of the electronic devices I’ve owned, but not so here. Learning the simple “swipe” touch controls was super easy. Made all the more pleasant, tactilely speaking, because of the smooth matte exterior finish of the ear cups. Voice prompts were pleasant, and helpful, letting me know battery life, etc. And enabling ‘Voice Assist’ for using Siri, was not a problem at all, as the buttons are easy to reach and push. As far as the main feature and selling point of these Bose headphones, I can say that I really did notice the difference in sound when choosing between the various levels of noise cancellation, all while still being able to distinguish ambient sounds enough to be aware of my surroundings. Though I much prefer using these headphones for listening to music, over using them for taking phone calls. Once again, the lack of written detailed instructions was a ‘Con’ for me, as a consumer. Although I am experienced with, and feel comfortable trying out new technology (including a wide variety of headset devices), having to rely solely on an app for even basic information regarding the product, is a negative. Although I wanted to give these Bose ‘700’ Noise-Cancelling Headphones *five stars* I am only able to give them *four* because they do make my ears sweat, as stated above. And considering what these cost, along with the expected quality of the brand, this just isn’t acceptable. Nor is the less-than-stellar, not as advertised “crystal clear” call clarity. Hence my rating. However, given the aforementioned ‘downsides’, I still would recommend these headphones, although the cost does seem a bit overpriced. But then again, they are a Bose product.

I purchased this item because I am hyper sensitive to microwave, rf, elf etc waves (sound) so I purchased these due to the ANC and when I tried out the display for the first time in years I could not hear it hitting mr( the hair stood up) I paid 4-500$ for them. I get them home, they are nothing alike. I could still hear/feel the waves, the display is made out of heavy materials, the boxed item made of flimsy plastic/rubber sag on your head. The sound was ok but not for Bose .

      Hey,

These headphones feature 11 levels of customizable noise-cancellation. Sorry to hear you aren't currently able to benefit from this - it sounds like something may be wrong. Make sure that the cushions are firmly sealed around your ear to maximize blocking out surround noises. Also make sure that the cushions are securely clipped to the headset.

Very happy with my 700 series headphones. I had read some reviews that the bass wasn't the best but once you download the app it gives you a very simplistic equalizer which makes a big difference.
