Uncomfortable and static with every bump
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not comfortable on the ears. Every bump on the train/bus you get a lot of static and skipping. Sound quality isn’t great either. I returned it and Spent $199 on New JBL headphones much better sound quality with similar functions.

Poor quality for the high price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor quality, the ear cups will last slightly longer than a year. Then Bose will just tell you that your warranty is expired so you'll have to buy a new one.

Posted .Hello Felipe, thanks for leaving your thoughts on the NC 700 headphones. Our cushions are made from a protein leather, which can naturally deteriorate over time with use. This can be accelerated by environmental factors such as heat and humidity, but the great news is that we do stock replacement cushions, so you can continue to enjoy your headphones for many years to come. Head over to our website here https://bose.life/2XqZzpZ to source your new ones.

Great sound.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these to use with other devices. Hope someday Bluetooth will be able to support using multiple devices with one source; I.e. use 2 sets of headphones on the same TV. Only one pair at a time can be connected now.

Very good headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone capabilities on these are amazing!!! I was mowing my lawn on my big rider full throttle , blades running mowing the yard and talking to my son on the phone through the 700's. He couldn't even hear the tractor running!!! He said I was loud and clear with no background noise. Incredible!! Far exceeds my expectations in that department! As far as the sound of music through them, could be better. They sound good up to about 75% volume . After that it is very harsh. Sounds like way to much treble and mid range. Gave me a headache at 100%. Keep them below 75% though and they sound good. Crisp and clear. Not over bassy. The ANC is on par with the Sony mark 3s. I personally think the Sony are ever so slightly better though in this department. They are also comfortable for lengthy listen sessions. Touch controls work very well. Overall I think they are good. Maybe not $400 worth of good but the best wireless ANC headphones on the market currently.

Multiple devices
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When connected to multiple blue tooth devices, the headphones is not able to recognize the calls on the other devices if we shift from one device to other device to handle calls. Also, if I drop the calls from mobile and pick up the call over Laptop, the headphone does not recognize the laptop. It gives error message. I have turn off and turn on the buletooth multiple times to recognize the devices. Jabra headphones is very good when connected to multiple devices. The shift of calls from Mobile to Laptop or vice versa is very well recognized by headphones

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1) these cannot be worn slightly off one ear, they will flip open and fall off your ear 2) sound quality is mediocre 3)plastic build 4) moments where in-call audio started to become broken up and your friend sounds like R2D2, and your friend also cannot hear you at all (happened 4 times in one day)

Posted .Hi Chrissy, I am sorry to hear the Noise Cancelling 700 Headphones didnt quite meet your expectations.
if you notice any distortion while on a call this can be from excessively noisy environments such as airplanes taking off, concerts, emergency sirens, and construction zones can overwhelm the microphones used to monitor external frequencies causing the headphones to crackle or distort.
If you run into any issues or have anything we can assist you with please reach out to support and we’ll be happy to help!

They are great, but more for a niche Bose person
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose noise cancelling not quite what I was expecting. I work in an environment that has low hums, high frequency noise, and some mid noises. The low hum goes away but the mid and highs are essentially not touched. I have used the surface headphones 2 and now currently own the Sony mark 4. The Bose are on par with the surface headphones two. The color is beautiful! I wish the material was higher quality for almost $400. Also using a 2.5mm headphone jack is obnoxious. They are great, but more for a niche Bose person

Comfy and great noise canceling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are very comfortable on my head and the ear pieces are very soft and definitely helps so much with the noise canceling aspect. The headphones have a “L” & “R” on the inside of ear part so that you’ll know which side is which. When it comes to phone calls I haven’t had a problem at all. I’ve experienced smooth calls with easy access of calling and hanging up. I like the smart affects to these headphones. Being able to turn the volume up or down by just sliding your finger up or down on the right side earphone is great. You can also switch songs by swiping left or right on the same side of headphones. Definitely makes it easier when I’m running or exercising and my phone is my pocket! I didn’t have any shifting issues when running with these headphones. They didn’t budge at all! When it comes to the noise canceling it’s seriously heavenly! I didn’t hear any of my kids when I played my music with these on. I loved it! Haha! It was like being in my own little world or being right there while the artist sing the songs! The music played very clearly and smooth. When it comes to the base, you can’t change it and for me a person who doesn’t like too much bass, I feel like these Bose headphones have the perfect amount of base. Other headphones I’ve had in the past had bass where it’s like exploding in your ear and the music isn’t very clear at all and it was bad. These are perfect amount of bass. When it came to connecting to my google and Alexa I honestly didn’t have any issues. I have iPhone 8 and even connecting to my phone and Siri was a breeze. These Bose headphones do come with an app called Bose music and I thought that was neat! Overall I think these are great headphones and they are definitely an investment! They do come with a nice durable case so you can keep them safe which is neat! I’ve already recommended these to my workout group since they are so amazing!! Definitely buy these if you are wanting perfect noise canceling earphones that are comfortable and want to buy yourself something nice.

Great sound, with fantastic noise cancellation
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I have amassed a collection of wireless earbuds, I have not ever ventured into the territory of over-ear headphones, and I’ve never had any experience with active noise cancelling headphones, so I was excited to get the latest Bose offering in this space. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. These are very well-built. The use of metal in the headband gives a feeling of confidence, that these will not easily break. It does add a bit of weight, but not too much, and I think it’s an acceptable trade-off. The style is modern and very sharp looking. You don’t have to hope that no one will notice you’re wearing them like some of the boxier styles currently available. Bose included a very nice zippered case to hold the headphones. One of the neatest things about it is that it has a compartment inside where you can store the charging cable and audio cable that you can use for a wired connection. The cover for the compartment is secured by a magnet, making for a nice setup. Pairing the headphones was very easy, but Bose does require you to download an app to get the process started. The app is unfortunately not completely done, as it does not include any ability to set custom EQ settings, but it does work for its intended purpose. There is basically no documentation included with the headphones, unless you count a couple simple graphics and a book full of safety warnings in multiple languages. There is a manual available online, but I wish Bose had included it in the package, especially for this price. Once you’re paired, you really don’t need the app anymore, unless you want to explore their audio augmented reality offerings. I’ve explored these before and wrote about them in another of my Bose reviews. In short, they didn’t offer much for me, but if you’re in one of the cities with full service, you might like them. For me, the most important element for a pair of headphones is how they sound when listening to music. Other reviews have been critical of the sound of these headphones, but I think they sound great. If you’ve listened to Bose headphones before, you know that “clean” is a good descriptor of their sound signature. They aren’t heavy on bass, but what there is comes through as very clean. Other headphones have muddy bass lines, but not these. I’d rather have that than head-thumping bass that sounds muddy. The highs are sharp, but not overly so. Overall, the sound is balanced and clear, and quite enjoyable. So, what about the noise cancellation? Having never used it before, I didn’t know what to expect. As others have said, it’s pretty amazing. Noise cancellation isn’t just for the person wearing the headphones, it even works with your voice for the person on the other end of a call. I put my head near a dehumidifier that was running while I was talking to my wife, and she said she couldn’t hear the noise at all. While listening to a podcast during an outdoor walk, the noise cancellation got rid of the loud noise of the cicadas in the trees and even cancelled out the effects of a light breeze blowing across the headphones. I’m impressed! The level of cancellation is selectable, and there’s even a button to pause the music and turn off the noise cancellation so that you can talk to another person. That’s a nice touch. The controls on these headphones are very nice. There are a few physical buttons: power/bluetooth pairing, voice assistant, and ANC level/pause. Unfortunately, these buttons are placed such that you’ll accidentally push them while taking the headphones off/on. That is annoying, but you can avoid it by holding the ear cups differently. On the right cup, touch controls allow you to play/pause, change volume and change tracks. Once you get the hang of how they work, they’re actually quite good. I do wish that call volume was louder, but I’m very pleased with these headphones. They are comfortable for wearing over long periods of time, and I was thrilled that they have a big enough headband for a big head like mine. I would recommend them if you’re looking for a pair of nicer headphones, but you’ll have to decide how you feel about them at this price point. Personally, I’m not a fan of how the whole headphone/earbud segment has reached premium price points for anything worthwhile. If you’re looking for a great way to listen to music in a noisy environment, these might be the headphones for you.
