These headphones are good, but I would suggest looking at the Sony XM 4 instead. I found the fit a little odd.

Have had these for a little over a month. Got them for a trip that I was going on and they did not disappoint. Had them on for a 10 hour flight and they did not hurt my ears and the battery lasted the whole trip. Sound quality is good, noise cancellation is great and very comfortable.

These are great headphones, I recommend you read as many reviews as you can and then read the instruction manual. Many complaints have either explanations or answers if you read the manual…. Bluetooth can be quirky for whatever reason but like all things there is usually an answer that has to do with device settings. Bose indicates from their web site “Bose AR is currently compatible with iPhone and iPad devices. Bose AR-enhanced apps for Android users are in development. Bose AR features and availability may vary.” Why exclude such a huge market?? Anyhow, in the case comes a charging and line-in cable, thankfully it is a USB C. The case, which I appreciate is very well thought out, there is a compartment for the cables so they don’t fall out when you zip open to access. I downloaded the Bose Music App and set up the connection to my phone and laptop, yes you can have two devices connected simultaneously. I was listening to music from my laptop and had someone call me, the music stopped and I answered the call. When the call was over it went back to the music, easy-peasy… The noise cancellation (adjustable) is second to none, including my older Bose products. I also like the conversation feature, very helpful when people can’t take the hint when you are wearing over the ear headphones…. Fit is excellent the pads are big enough to cover your ears and are comfortable without being bulky. Again, noise cancellation is superb. Sound quality is what you would expect from Bose. Hint if you are bass junky you may not need to look elsewhere but just know these are more balanced versus bouncing your inner ear. However, the bass is great, deep, rich and like I said, Bose quality. Construction is well done, almost feels as if part of the band is aluminum not plastic, but still flexible and light. Usage and controls are pretty straight forward and the buttons are easy to access. One thing I will say about my only real dislike, why can’t you use these and charge at the same time? I get they are wireless but it would be really great in situations where you can charge them to have the ability. With very little shortcomings these are worth it even at the hefty price tag, I would recommend.

The Bose NC 700 is one of the best headphones I’ve used. I personally really like the design which is very different from anything else I’ve seen. The sound is great for most genres with enough highs, mids, and bass for most songs to sound great. These are comfortable enough that I’ve worn them for hours at a time and kept forgetting they were on my head. The only gripe that I have is that loud noises like drums seem to kind of pop the noise cancelling mics and make a sound, other than that the noise cancelling in phenomenal.

The whites of the fabric looked discolored, the sound of audio did not complement bass oriented music. The input jack is not normal sized.. need to use the dongle for normal things. The method used for adjusting the size and fitment feels flimsy.

      Hi,

Just so you know, the 2.5mm end of the cable is what connects directly to the headphones. The end that you connect to your devices is a regular 3.5mm jack. Additionally, did you know that there is an adjustable EQ? More information can be found here - https://bose.life/3LICnHm.

    Bose keeps getting better

Bose products are the best if you care about sound quality. I have owned the Quiet Comfort 2 headphones, one of their earliest, for over 15 years and love them. The foam cushion on the headpiece was disintegrating, and the ear pieces had their foam replaced. It was time for a new pair. I was amazed at how much better the noise cancelling feature had gotten - not just for motor sounds, like airplane noise, but even people speaking. It's greatly improved. You also have control over how much you want to cancel noise. Control of volume, NC, on/off, pause, end call, etc., are all done by touch on the ear pieces and the instructions are easy to understand. The headset is adjustable and very comfortable, and the sound is crisp, with good bass, which is to be expected from Bose. I highly recommend these Bluetooth headphones.

    Much better than my QC35s

    Posted .

I have had the QC35s for several years, and now have had the 700s for a couple of months. When I first saw the the 700s, I didn't think I would like them as well as the QC35s. First, they didn't fold. I also noticed the (very very slight) higher clamping pressure. Then I used them for a while. Guess what, they are better than the QC35s in every way. First, I quickly found out that I didn't miss folding and unfolding the headphones (i.e. doing "setup") for the QC35s each time. It's nice just to pull the 700s out of the case and use them. Second, if you actually wear them for more than 5 minutes (unlike in a store demo), I guarantee you won't notice any difference in comfort. The 700s are just as comfortable to wear. Now for what is better. The 700s have *much* better bluetooth connectivity. They have much longer range, and I never suffer any dropouts whereas I do on the QC35s. The noise cancellation is also better. It has more levels, but also, it just works better and sounds better. I also think the 700s sound quite a bit better than my QC35s. They are a bit cleaner and more defined. I also didn't think I would like the rubberized headband as well as the alcantara on the QC35s. I was wrong again. The new one is much better if you sweat at all. I also like they touch controls and they work very well. Overall, I like the 700s much better. One thing I wish they would change though. That's the "conversation" button. It's a good feature, but you have to hold the button down while you talk. It would be better if you could (optionally) double tap the button to turn conversation mode on, and double-tap again to go back to normal mode. The Bose website says that you can hold the button for one second and it will go into conversation mode (similar to my double-tap idea), but that doesn't work. At least not with the current firmware. Maybe they will fix this. Other than that, I can definitely recommend these headphones.
