These had the slightest bit of water make contact with the inside ear cup and theu are dead. Not even submerged just a bit and immediately dried. If there is even a chance life might happen around these then get insurance or buy something else. I expect better for the cost. Would be 5/5 if they had better water restiance as theh were perfect otherwise.

      Hi,

It's disappointing to hear that your headphones are no longer working. They have an IPX4 rating which is sweat/water resistance. This means they can only withstand minimal droplets.

We'd love to discuss this further with you. Please reach out to our customer support or contact us through Facebook/Twitter - https://bose.life/2WZOG8Z.

I have had these for a week so i have not uncovered all the bells and whistles, but so far i am very impressed. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight. I can walk around at ease and not feel like i am wearing them. They adjust really easily to fit my head without any drooping. The sound has been amazing! I use them while i bake and the music is crisp and clear and the sound of me baking is not gears at all!

Purchase the Bose quiet comfort. Bose 700 is very confusing to use. Noise cancellation is not as good as the quiet comfort. I highly recommend quiet comfort over the 700. Easier to use than the 700.

These Bose noise cancelling 700 promise to be a step up from the QC35 as far as noise cancelling and with 4 microphones to discern ambient sound from your voice and block the background noises while you’re on a call. More details on this below. Setup: I found the Bose app to be a bit finicky. I was able to setup easier with the phones Bluetooth setting app vs the Bose app. But even if the headphones are connected to my phone directly via Bluetooth, the app doesn’t recognize it. It took another try or two to connect through the app. Included in the box is a nice case to safely store your headphones, a USB-C cable for charging and a standard 3.5mm audio cable. I found the headphones to be very comfortable overall. The ear pieces are comfortable as is the head band. After wearing for hours, I didn’t experience any discomfort from the headband or the ear cups. It is summer, so it was very warm especially walking outside. Sound test: The sound quality is excellent, perfect amount of base, crisp, clear audio. I listen to all types of music from morning talk radio, dance hits, top 40 to Piano Guys. I love the sound profile out of the box, of course this is subjective, some might prefer different levels of base etc. While the controls may seem gimmicky at first, they work well and are intuitive. For me, it took a bit of getting use to, while repositioning the headphones, I inadvertently skipped to the next track. After a few days, I got used to it and didn’t have any more miscues. Phone call: This is truly where the Bose 700 shine, making phone calls in loud environments. I had this exact conversation with my friend recently. I noticed if I was speaking to him and I were to hold the iPhone to me ear, it sounds very good on the other end, my voice is audible and not much background noises. If I used a Bluetooth headset, and it didn’t matter which brand, they picked up all the background noise and the person I’m speaking with couldn’t hear me well at all. So the noise canceling on the iPhone doesn’t work when you’re on a Bluetooth headset…until now! I first tested this out in mid-town Manhattan, my friend wasn’t able to hear all the hustle bustle sounds that I was hearing, instead the background noises were muffled and he was able to hear my voice. If the occasional emergency vehicle passed by, he would hear it. Next, I tried this out in the hallway of an aquatic center where my son was having a swim meet. In the lobby with about 30 people, parents and kids, the NC700 again shined. It was able to suppress the noise so I can have a conversation. I was very impressed so far, so I tried another cal inside the pool area where there’s a lot of background noise, screaming coaches and kids…not so good here. The person I was speaking (read: wife) to got annoyed and hung up. Another comment I received from a friend while speaking to him in Manhattan was that I sounded like I was in a fishbowl! So while he could hear me, the audio sounded off. Conclusion: If you need to use your phone in noisy environments often and these headphones are for you! I can see someone who makes a lot of calls while out on the field a lot needing these. In general, I think most people text these days and use voice calls less. They’re on the pricy side, so if you don’t need to speak in loud environments, you may want to look at the QC35’s.

    Excellent new generation

I’ve had The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 for a couple of weeks now and I am still super impressed with their performance. When they arrived I was super excited to get my hands on them as they are the new generation of noise canceling headphones from Bose replacing the older QuietComfort generation. They headphones have definitely met the high standard of the QC generation and have even exceeded them in my opinion. The design is super sleek and modern providing a solid build quality using high quality materials. The setup of these headphones was very simple, directions are very clear. Moving onto the actual sound quality of the 700 series they are super crisp and clear. The bass levels are fairly strong with very nice sounding mid range and treble ranges. I would highly recommend these headphones if one is in the market for a premium set of headphones as they exceed the standards of other competitor headphones in the market. Lastly the noise canceling capabilities of these headphones are brilliant as you can choose the level of noise cancellation from 1-10 depending on the environment you are in. Having these headphones the last few weeks has been a joy and would highly recommend to anyone in the market for this kind of product.

    Bose Comes Through Again

The Bose 700 headphones are a huge upgrade for me. These headphones not only sound amazing, but are so comfortable too. I previously had the Quite Comforts and these are worth the upgrade. I really appreciate the new design compared to the previous Bose models – a much more modern look! I especially like the new headband compared to the QC model. I was always hesitant to use the QCs for working out because the headband seemed to absorb sweat, but the 700s have a rubber like material that doesn’t allow sweat to penetrate. Also, the headband is no longer made of plastic and is made of metal. This makes the headphones seem much sturdier without adding much weight. The sound produced by the 700s is fantastic. You can always count on Bose to deliver with noise cancellation. The nice thing about these headphones is you can adjust the transparency to allow for less noise cancellation. This has come in handy in public areas where I need to be more aware. Finally, I do appreciate the ability to use Alexa on the headphones. It comes in handy through the day. I am very satisfied with the Bose 700s and will continue to be a loyal Bose customer.

I have the Bose Noise Cancelling earphones and wanted an equivalent in a headphone for comfort in certain situations. I even called Customer Service at Bose to make sure that this headphone would provide the same level of noise canceling as the earphones. It does not and is not even close. I don't want to listen to music. I want silence. The earphones are almost perfect in doing that. You can't hear a fan that is next to you. This headphone allows you to hear background noise even if you are playing music and is useless without listening to some other sound. For me, it was a total waste of money, so if quiet is what you want, get something else.

I have 2 Pixel Cells & a Google Pixel Watch & my Pixel Earbuds while sublime, cannot stay in my small ear canal. I was needing something for calls, music, etc. Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 may be costly, but worth every penny! I turned up the soundbar on my TV and ALL I could hear was the speakers. Very HQ, comes in a box with a zipper lined place to store when not in use, a power cord, a BT/Battery cord just in case you need it. Battery life is surprisingly long. I used my watch with it to listen to music and it was like a live concert! WOW~I couldn't stop listening. Excellent warranty, excellent deal of a price @ Best Buy

This is a solid update to the last generation of Bose Bluetooth noise-canceling headsets. The noise cancelation is some of the best I have ever heard or not heard if you want to think of it that way. The headset is also very comfortable, more comfortable even than the already super comfortable QC35 II's I had. The sound quality is great and even which is what I like about the bose line of products. The only minor thing I would say is I wish that the headphones folded like the last version for easier storage and portability, but I understand the need to be modern and fresh. The sound cancelation for phone calls also seems to be much improved over previous generations of headsets as well. Most people have had no issues hearing me even in louder areas when talking during a conversation. Overall this is a great set of headphones.

I purchased this product 18 months ago. Worked fine but recently getting a lot of complains from people on google meet about very noisy static in my audio. I tried to updated firmware, checked on other devices (iPhone/MacBook Pro) - same problems. For $450 headphone I would expect it to work for at least 5 years! My only option now is to send it back and get a new headphone (same model that failed....) for 50% discount. Going to switch to other brand...

These are by far the best pair of noise canceling headphones I have used. I have an earlier version of these headphones and am blown away with the technology improvements. When using the noise canceling feature all noise ceases and you feel like you’re in a room by yourself. The sound quality on these headphones are also amazing. As always, Bose has a way of delivering sound perfection. It’s so crisp and clear, you’ll never want another pair of headphones. The Bluetooth function on these is fabulous. I use these all the time for work phone calls and everyone I spoke with was blown away with sound quality of the phone call. It’s usually pretty easy to tell when someone is on their headset but with this pair of headphones you can’t tell. These headphones are so comfortable. They are light and cushy, you’ll forget you’re wearing them. I would recommend these headphones to everyone. They literally are the best pair I have ever used.
