4.5/5 I also own the wh-1000xm4. The Bose are superior in comfort, controls, and noise canceling. However the Sonys allow you to control the sound via equalizer app. You can change settings for a podcast or audiobook as opposed to movies or music. Why Bose is not doing this I have no idea. If you are to lazy to use the app, then just go with the Bose; especially if you wear them for long periods of time.

These are my favorite thing I’ve probably ever purchased. Extremely comfortable over the ear, great sound, and perfect noise cancellation. I’ll wear these at the gym, or even at home when the noise gets to be a little too much, and at work when my co workers get on my nerves lol. Quality is perfect, as expected with Bose.

Purchased to replace an older pair of headphones and I must say the sound is AMAZING! The fit is great and comfortable. I have used them mostly for traveling, so far not disappointed at all!

Perfect NC headphones for those who want style with function. Had to tweek the EQ in the Bose app but highly recommend these over all others. Fit nice. Light weight and not ugly like the air pods max.

i have always had Bose, whether they be the Q45 or the ear buds, but these take the cake. Light weight, nice sound, durable (it seems) and portable (fits any situation).

I bought the headphones primarily for video conferences and it does the job well. I like the adjustable noise cancelling feature and the ability to connect two sources at once: my phone and my computer. It has excellent battery life and the startup voice announces the length of charge remaining each time it's powered up. Oh, and the sound is amazing!

Great sound. The overall design is sleek and compact. The clamshell storage case makes it easy to keep inside a backpack so you don't have to hook it to the outside.

I bought these headphones for my brother, who wears them for several hours a day! They are soft and comfortable, and the sound is fantastic.

I have the bose soundlink headphones II ones and the ear cuffs are starting to rip so i bought these i tested them out i got them paired with my samsung s6 galaxy tab my computer and my lg c9 oled tv and i really love them i notice to me it feels there is bass to it which i like they sound better then the soundlink which are really good to but these are better.

First of all, the Bose-Headphones 700 meets all of my needs and much more. The Noise Cancellation is amazing...while using it at the 10 max level, I hear absolutely no outside noise. My family started talking to me and the only way they got my attention is I noticed their lips were moving. When set at 5, I could hear outside noise that does not distort my listening experience. #2. Bluetooth feature allowed me to connect wireless for my iPhone and Samsung TV. The part that I value the most caller ID is announced thru the headphones and all I have to do is tap on the Right side on the headset to answer. Also, when not wearing the headset but in the on position, I can answer incoming phone calls from my headset just by placing it over my ears to begin the conversation. Finally, the leather case is perfect to store my headphones and for travel. The power cords are stored in a magnetic enclosure that allows easy access. I've tried Sony and Beats and chose to invest in the Bose 700 NC headphone.

I own the QC 20, 25, 30 and 35 models. And I compared these to the QC 35 model. The noise cancellation is a bit better on the 700’s. The audio sound is pretty close between the two. The 700’s are definitely better with phone calls. The 700’s are also more comfortable, to me, when worn 2 or 4 hours.

I bought these for cutting the grass and listening to podcasts. They work great. The noise canceling is amazing. I use them when watching TV on my Apple TV when my daughter and wife are watching a different show in the adjacent room and they work great for that. Love these. So easy to use. Amazing battery life.

The sound is fantastic and they are so light and comfortable. I use them for the gym every day and I love them. I used to use airpods but these are so much better.

I've been using these headphones mostly for video conferencing, and playing Xbox so far. The call quality during video conferencing is far better than with my wired headphones or the built in mic/speakers on my MacBook. My colleagues couldn't even hear the printer when it went off right next to me. I briefly owned the Sony WH 1000-XM3, but returned due to the call quality and bluetooth connectivity. These Bose have bluetooth 5 and are able to connect to multiple devices, so switching between my phone and laptop is much easier. So far I haven't been able to get the mic to work with the Xbox, which has been disappointing, but this wasn't the primary purpose for my purchase. I have read online that with the correct cord (QC 25 android cord) that it will work. I would recommend these!

The are by far the best noise cancelling headphones that Bose has ever produced! I've owned every successive model, but there's always something not quite right; fit, seal, and overall comfort when wearing for long periods. The noise cancellation in the 700 are in a class of their own, with the ability to modulate it's strength while maintaining clear, crisp, rich sound at all volumes. Finally the profile isn't so bulky and the discomfort around and above my ears, the sides of my head, and the top are essentially gone. Lightweight and clean in design, they are beautiful. Kudos Bose!

Headphones are really comfortable, I use them for work conference calls, so I have them on for hours at a time. Sound is clear & ANC is awesome.

I absolutely love these headphones. Tgey are comfortable, they block out sound when you want it and can easily hear people on a phone call when there are outside disturbances.

Great headphones. Excellent noise-cancelling settings, even at the bare minimum. Bluetooth has a very strong range. Extremely comfortable fit for long hours of listening.

There's not much else I can add that is not already in other reviews or on the website. These headphones are solid for music, taking calls, and watching tv late at night when family is sleeping. I would recommend these to everyone!

I bought these for my partner for xmas and she loves them! Great for working from home. She can hear and be heard clearly and they really filter out background noise like barking dogs. Having the audio cord included is clutch for travel (plugging into in flight entertainment) and connecting to other tech. I did a LOT of research on the best ANC and these still won after all this time. I am jealous of hers and can't wait to get my own. The only complaint I've heard is that sometimes your ears or head gets hot after extended wear.
